These filters aren't a bad value for the money. They fit perfectly, and you can't beat having them delivered to your door. I can buy a year's supply all at once which is nice. They work just as well as any other filters I've used. The quality is typical of these types of filters made of mostly cardboard with wire reinforcements. The filter material itself is of good quality. Overall, this is a great solution for keeping my filter fresh and having affordable replacements each month.

I like the Merv 13 rating although I have no way to test if it actually is Merv 13It fits my 14x14x1 vent opening.It is clearly marked on which direction to install it.There are places on the sides with check boxes to label Merv rating. One side was blank, the other side was marked.I don't necessarily like how much cardboard framing there is. Is blocks more filter area than my previous filter. I'm not an expert in filter design, but my common sense tells me that there would be slightly less allowable airflow with more non-filter material in the way.Cost is

These look like other filters I’ve used in the house before. They have a nice pleat to them and the metal mesh on the back so I assume they are working. Air seems to flow through them so I guess they work? They fit the size I needed so I believe they work. I guess I don’t really have a way to test if they truly are living up to the MERV rating, but they work so it should be fine for a couple months until I replace them.

These MERV 13 air filters appear to be of similar quality construction to those I have been using for over a decade and are about the cost of the MERV 12 filters I have been buying. The MERV 13 filters from my other supplier cost almost double the cost of these MERV 13 filters. I was surprised at the cost difference between the MERV 12 and MERV 13 filters. One minor issue is that the filters are labeled as MERV 13 filters in a loose piece of paper in the package as shipped, but, although there are checkboxes on the filter frame to denote the filter rating, none of them were checked. So, it is a good idea to mark them when you unpack them so you will know in the future what you have. With both vendors, since I have no way to verify it, I can only assume that the ratings are accurate. In that case, these filters are of an exceptional value.
