Disappointed and Frustrated. Poor Customer Handling and Marginal Product Quality.I ordered this umbrella and base together. Immediately after, Purple Leaf messaged me insisting I needed a much larger, more expensive base. I reviewed the umbrella's technical specifications and determined that a moderately larger base would be sufficient for my intended use. I ordered that base accordingly. Without my consent, they canceled my base order (for the second time) simply because I did not purchase the model they were pushing. I received no notification. I only discovered this after it failed to arrive on schedule.As a result, I was unable to use the umbrella I purchased almost two weeks ago. I specifically bought this for Mother’s Day. It was unusable without the base. I also risked running out the return window without even being able to test the umbrella.Update 05/08: Customer service has continued to push us to cancel our order and purchase the larger base they want us to buy, despite the fact that I have explained multiple times that the base I selected exceeds the required weight when used in my setup. The umbrella will be anchored inside a custom wooden enclosure, providing additional weight well beyond spec. I simply want the base I ordered to be shipped without interference. This has been the most time-consuming and frustrating online order I have ever dealt with.Update 06/08: We finally assembled everything. The base was filled with over 80% sand and the remainder water, with additional locking wheels and wooden enclosure securing it well beyond the necessary stability.Now, here is my technical assessment of the product:The umbrella canopy is single-stitched. If you know anything about umbrella or canopy design, this is a major weak point (see photo). Corners should be double-stitched and reinforced. This design is prone to tearing over time, especially under wind stress. While we will keep it down when not in use, I expect we will be buying a replacement top sooner rather than later.The structural connection hardware is plastic, fastened with rivets (see photo). At this price point, I expected metal components where the poles connect. This is a structural compromise.The LED lighting is extremely poor and does not match photos. It is nowhere near bright enough to serve as primary outdoor lighting. We will have to reinstall our previous lighting system.The 360-degree rotation feature is very slow and stiff. It feels fragile and does not operate like the smooth, effortless action shown in promotional videos. I am hesitant to use it aggressively for fear of damaging the mechanism.Bottom line: The size of the umbrella is its only true selling point. For the cost, the quality and customer service experience are disappointing. I strongly recommend that potential buyers do their research and fully understand the compromises of this product before purchasing. There are likely better-engineered options on the market.A side note: I think the seller complained to Amazon, because now I can place any other reviews on their base. The base while seems pretty solid only has one flaw in my opinion, the openings at the top for either half are diagonally across from each other. They should be side by side, so you can tip it at the same time to move the sand around. Otherwise you have to do one at a time, which made it harder to fill.

Love! The light bars have a soft light that isn't glaring. I like the 360 degree option to move it umbrella w/sun. We recieved & put together the umbrella & it had 1 broken piece. I contacted the seller & within 24 hrs they contacted me. We recieved the new part in a couple of days. This was an ideal interaction with a company who obviously focuses on their customer service! We couldn't be happier

I decided to wait a couple of years to review this umbrella because the most important feature to me is longevity in the elements. Well, I have been impressed. We just had a major windstorm in my area and of course I put on the cover and hoped for the best.The cover has never come off in the wind but in this instance, it did. The wind got underneath the long cover and blew it off. I am not sure how long it was exposed. When I realized the issue, I managed to secure it back together and bungee-strapped the bottom so that this wouldn't happen again. It worked perfectly. It wasn't until the next day that I was able to open the umbrella and check for damage. Here is a picture showing little, if any, damage. I hardly ever write reviews but this deserved one. Also, this thing has been a lifesaver during hot, sunny days. 5 Stars!!

The product is great but the customer service is better

Wir haben den Schirm in der Größe 270x365 cm bestellt. Vom ersten Moment an fällt einem auf, wie wertig das Teil ist, verglichen mit den 100-Euro-Dingern vom Baumarkt, die wir früher alle paar Jahre neu gekauft haben. Der Schirm ist einfach zu bedienen, die Kurbeln auch für Kinder kein Problem. Der Stoff macht einen super Eindruck und hält auch Regen einigermaßen ab, obwohl er nicht zu 100% wasserdicht ist. Bei Nieselregen oder kurzen Schauern muss man aber keine Angst haben, nass zu werden.Einzig bei der Montage muss man etwas vorsichtig sein. Wir haben den Schirm auf einer einbetonierten Montageplatte fixiert. Leider sind die mitgelieferten Schrauben minderwertig, sodass sich von 4 Schrauben eine direkt verabschiedet hat (abgebrochen) und sich eine andere übelst verzogen hat. Also musste ich diese aufwendig rausbohren und dann mit größeren Schrauben und Muttern weiterarbeiten. Also lieber gleich direkt hochwertige Schrauben (M8) nutzen.Ich gebe dennoch 5 Sterne, da der Schirm ansonsten echt super ist und ich vielleicht auch nur eine schlechte Charge Schrauben erwischt habe.

We are absolutely in love with our new parasol. We loved the option of lights directly in the construction of the umbrella. They are totally great in the evening providing us great atmosphere for our terrace. The umbrella looks gorgeous. It is looks great and it is very stable as well. The installation was quite easy as well for us.I would also love to point the communication with the seller - I was not sure about the stand for it and also needed the package dimensions to be ably to get this umbrella to my home country as Amazon was not shipping directly to my destination. They answered all my questions quickly and with so detailed information that made it all so easy to organise from my end. I believe apart of the great product they really have a team who is ready to go an extra mile to ensure a customer will be happy. Definite recommendations from us.

Sonnenschirm kam gut verpackt an,ist sehr stabil und das Licht ist sehr angenehm im Dunkel. Die Schirmhülle lässt sich dank des integrierten Stabes sehr leicht über den Schirm stülben. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Wirklich eine wahnsinnig schnelle Lieferung und eine super Qualität. Ich bin sehr begeistert wie einfach und leicht der Schirm bedienbar ist. Die Solarlampen funktionieren ebenfalls sehr gut. Als Standfuß würde ich ein Metallkreuz mit 4 dazugehörigen Granitplatten a 25 kg empfehlen. (Habe ich so gemacht, sehen trotz der Größe gut aus und der Schirm steht fest)
