My only minor issue is that it can be a bit tricky to clean thoroughly. Overall, it’s a dependable and high-quality brush for any painting job. Its 9-inch size and .38-inch thickness make it versatile for various surfaces, delivering smooth and even coverage.

Great roller.Make sure you get rid of the fluff with some painters tape and spin.Moisten the roller so it I'd primed for paint absorptionDo not overload the roller and probably best to water down the paint by 20% or so.Great roller good coverage and good value, wash it out and use many times 👌

I have used many different paint rollers from 9-18". This Purdy 1.75" core is excelent when pared with there white dove roller cover. What I like is to be able to paint with what equals to a 12 inch roller as far as paint coverage, with the compact size of a 9 inch roller. Some have complained of squeaking noise from roller frame after using several times. Here is a solution to that problem, before using the roller add a small amount of liqued dish soap to each end where the yellow roller cage contacts the aluminum tube. Spin the cage and allow the soap to enter and run down inside along the aluminum tube. You can use it right away, but best to let sit a day or two allowing the dish soap to harden. This will lubricate the bearings and will not effect your paint in any way. This will last for along time, also here is a tip for cleaning your roller. If you have a yard and a garden hose with any type of adjustable spray nozzle, first wet the grass around an 8 to 10 foot area, and lay the roller down on a short piece of wood or any thing that will raise the roller up off of the ground. Leave your extention pole in the roller and put one foot on the pole to secure it. Direct the stream of water onto the roller to first saturate it, then aim the stream to the very top and move the stream across the top of the roller, and it will begin to spin very fast. Sometimes you will get sorayed but not much, then direct water to the bottom and reverse the spin working the stream across the bottom. Work from end to end and repeat this whole process several times. On the last pass let the stream of water move off the end of the roller. That's it your roller cover should be clean and almost dry, and ready to be reused.

Love the Purdy Roller! I've tried others & none of them stand you up to Purdy! These rollers hold much more paint then others I have used in the past! I love using them to paint ceilings because they hardly ever drip! A little more info on the roller itself now * core size 1-3/4" core, 3/8" nap, 9" roller, can be used on smooth or semi smooth surfaces, works on all different kinds of paint (latex & oil based)! These rollers are made of woven dralon fabric which means you can use it more the 1 time, just make sure to clean it out well! I highly recommend Purdy rollers, you also need need a 1-3/4" roller handle, your typical roller handle will not work!...
