I found this screen not so easy to apply when compared to my previous privacy screen - if you don't get it on just right, it doesn't stay on your laptop like it should. The ad does say "removeable", so I assume that means when you take it off your laptop for good.Privacy is meh. Not as "private" at angles and from straight back from the screen.

It works fine as a privacy shield. It is quick to install with the magnets. But the writing feel with the Surface pen is poor. The listing has a picture that states "Responds as smoothly as the original screen when using an [sic] Surface pencil." That is not true. Using the Surface pen on the this screen is unpleasant. The pen squeaks across the surface like nails on a chalkboard. There is a tacky feel, and the pen does not glide. It would be better if the screen had a pebbled or "paper feel" texture, which would be an improvement over even the original Surface glass. But this is much worse than the Surface glass. The pen rubs against the privacy screen and the writing experience is unpleasant.

This is a great screen. It fits well and is very durable. The best thing is the magnetic aspect of the screen. It automatically attaches without having to peel and stick. No more having to work on getting bubbles out! lol

Works great but doesn’t allow my surface studio2 to close all the way.
