Picked up this tripod stand about two weeks ago for online classes from home. Initially, wasn't sure it'd feel stable enough for my big laptop. Eventurally it worked flawlessly. Only small issue was I didn't find the velcro straps right away, it turned out that 2 straps were fastened into 1. It was easy to put together by following instructions.Overall, quality definitely matches the price, not the cheapest option but feels solid, durable, and it's worth it. Also, I can mount my mini projector on the tripod when needs to. I lovee it sooo much!!

I like how straightforward it is to set up the projector stand. I really like that the extension poles have a locking pin to prevent the poles from completely collapsing into each other if the weight of whatever they're holding becomes too much. The poles and the stand itself seem really well made, and I like how the ball joint mount stores on the bottom, but some of the other plastic accessories that come with it just aren't as well made. The power strip holder is a bit rough to attach due to coarse plastic left over from the molding, and the included elastic bands are poorly sewn into loops. The bag also shows signs of damage, although I haven't used it yet. When I hold it up to the light, I can see many small tears and cracks from how it was stored in the box. I recommend keeping the piece of foam padding that was used to package the laptop/projector platform and using it to protect the corners of the platform from tearing through the bag during transport. Alternatively, I have other canvas bags that I could use to store this tripod in, but I wish they paid more attention to bag quality.While I haven't tested it with a projector yet, the balance of the tripod with the platform and a laptop was pretty good. The tripod was able to recover moderately well from minor bumps without falling over. The platform's adjustable tilt is also very helpful if you want to use your keyboard at an angle, and I imagine it would also be great for extending the angle at which you can tilt your projector. Overall, I still think the stand is really good and it's going to be a great help when I need to mount a laptop, projector or camera in the classroom.

This set is great. The box is quite heavy and the stand itself is very sturdy.It was easy to assemble, and has many different configurations possible. In addition to it being good for a project stand, you could put a phone or a tablet on it, or even tilt it to put music on it.It has a wide variety of heights it can be set to, and it feels very solid.A great piece of kit with many uses.
