Great folding yoga mat. I own two other 2mm folding yoga mats from Gaiam and this mat feels almost identical in design and quality. The 2mm mats are very thin, not as cushioned as regular yoga mats, their main function is for grip, though they do provide a bit of protection for use on hard floors and can feel warmer on cold floors. I find the folded size extremely convenient for throwing in a backpack along with my other bits for the day which makes it much easier for transport than traditional mats. I ordered the turquoise blue mat with the sun, moon and stars design. The colour is more muted than pictured, which I actually love, it's more of a duck egg blue with cream design elements, a more soothing colour palette. It also doesn't have the rounded edges as pictured, this is the same as my Gaiam mats and has no impact on function. If you prefer the look of the rounded edge it could be easily cut. Suits me fine for what I need it to do so quite happy with my purchase.

This mat is great as a travel yoga mat. It is light and does not take much space. It is thin true, but you can‘t expect low weight and not taking up much space in your luggage if it was much thicker.With only 2mm, I would not choose it as my regular mat, I prefer 4mm mats for that. But like mentioned it is for travel, and I like my own to put my face on when I do yoga.

Allerdings sind Workouts eben kein Yoga und üben mehr Belastung auf das Material aus.Entsprechend ist die Matte nur begrenzt universal zu nutzen. So ist die Dämpfung für Seilspringen eigentlich zu gering. Die Stärke ist zu gering um den Untergrund auszugleichen und die Maße sind für breite Staturen auch nur bedingt gut geeignet.Demnach handelt es sich für mich hier um ein Nischenprodukt, das für mich in erster Linie eine geringe Schutzbarriere zwischen Körper und Boden aufbaut und sich darüber hinaus gut in Tasche oder Rucksack verstauen lässt.Trifft diese Nischenbeschreibung zu, ist die Matte wahrscheinlich sehr gut für die geplanten Zwecke geeignet. Will man mehr sollte man sich wahrscheinlich anders orientieren.
