I use this to store 4x6 proofs of my artwork and this is the perfect size portfolio pocketbook. I will definitely buy this product again. Each pocket has a black paper lining, so it gives a nice professional look when you insert two photos back-to-back in a single pocket. Pockets are clear and displays your photos very well. I like the hard plastic cover as it will bend your photos if you stow it into your coat pocket or bag. I highly recommend this product.

The product I ordered and received was actually part of the Itoya Advantage line, which has thicker polyglass sheets than the regular Profolio line. The polyglass sheets are also thicker and feel much more sturdy, and they're clearer than the normal Profolio sleeves as well. The plastic cover is also much thicker as well. I used the 4x6 version to hold giclee photo prints, two in each sleeve. With all but one of the sleeves filled, it is too thick for the book to close properly, but the photos are printed on 300 gsm/140 lb paper (thicker than a normal, non-giclee photo print), so that's understandable. It fulfilled the job of being a durable, archival presentation book that'll keep my giclee prints pristine and away from oily fingers.

This is a simple, 4x6 photo-sized album... 24 pages that are permanently bound to hold 48 photos altogether. The best attribute is the hard, plasticized cover, which, unlike similar products, this one is sturdy, useful, and, dare I say, elegant... for an inexpensive price point. I wish Itoya made a larger, multi-purpose photo album using the same materials here. Also, it would be nicer (in a larger version) for the pages to be removable, but here, it's simply not an issue. Highly recommended.

I purchased several different Itoya Presentation books to compare. This one, The Advantage, is superior to the others. The covers are stiff and durable, and the plastic pages are crystal clear so you can really see the photos perfectly!As far as the other Itoya books, second choice would be the Evolution line, much more light weight and plastic pages slightly less clear.The other Itoya book, The Original, it has a very nice cover sturdy but not as thick as the Advantage, and it's smooth and feels nice. The big drawback of "The Original" it doesn't have the crystal clear pages, pages are a little foggy.
