I purchased the professional 6 KitchenAid at an estate sale but it was missing the dough hook. So happy I was able to replace it and I'm off to baking my bread as I planned. Fits great works great

There must be a ton of “different” manufacturers on Amazon selling pretty much the same hook but in prices ranging from low $20 to low $30. Coated ones are much cheaper although having the coating come off in your dough does not sound pleasant.It definitely works much better that the standard “C” dough hook in that the dough seems to be directed down into the mixing bowl rather than moving up the hook.I got the lowest price I could find and would suggest you do the same.

I bought this spiral replacement dough hook as the coating started coming off of my original dough spiral. This spiral does NOT work for the Pro 5 plus lift! It's too long and it doesn't mix the dough at all. After several minutes of trying i finally switched back to my old attachment. Waste of money!
