It's a great part of history, it's well made and ornate, and a great gift idea, it looks great and it was a fantastic value and I highly recommend 5 stars

WHAT I LIKE. At first glance, the box is an attractive way to store and display the coin. It's a soft, leather box of sturdy,jewelry box quality. The coin case seals well, so no worries about it falling open while handling. The coin itself is decentlymade. Good weight, perfect detailing. I like the ridges along the banding.WHAT I DON'T LIKE. The box is nice, but not great. If you want to use it as a display case, a few things to be aware of. One, it only opens to about 80 degrees - so it's hard to show off the coin. Two, the gold seal print on the inside top is rubbing off, so the printing isn't the best quality. Three, it's got the seller's name in big gold letters on the top. As for the coin itself, the design is blander than I thought. The face is really good, but apart from the eagle, shield and signature, the back feels like it's missing something. The back also has no lip to it like most normal coins (or even the face). It's just flat all the way to the edge (see pic 2).Bottom line: It feels about 80-90% finished. For the price, I guess I should have expected as much. But while there are better display pieces out there, it's still attractive and a fun piece of history.
