I'd use PPE when using this, definitely gloves, goggles and a mask just incase, heeding the warning on item.Decent quality and easy to use, works well. A great item to have when you are a crafter, potter.Gives items a nice shiny finish.Recommend. Thank you

Myself and my child have recently got into making air dry clay creations and we need to seal our makes so they stand the test of time. We had some pott'd air dry clay so decided to order this varnish to complement it and it turned out great. I was worried it may be too thick but it has a nice milky/watery texture that is easily applied with a brush. My some wasn't as generous with application as I was so he did have a few paintbrush marks in his, but we did a light second coat and it evened out just fine. It goes on milky white but dries perfectly clear and glossy. Obviously haven't had it long enough to determine if it stands up to regular use etc. We made some trinket dishes and ornaments so I may update this review in the future if it doesn't stand the test of time.This is marketed as a 100% safe and toxin free product which made me happy to allow my son to use it also. It was only afterwards when writing this review that I read the entirety of the tiny writing on the back that said harmful particles can be produced which are hazardous if inhaled and to not allow this to come into contact with skin. My son did get some on his fingers when applying it and we were not wearing gloves. He did wash his hands thoroughly afterwards but had I known that the contents are contradictory to the marketing claims then I would have worn gloves and crafted in a more ventilated area.Luckily we did not experience any adverse effects, and there was no overpowering door from the varnish. If you take care when using it, it is actually a decent varnish that is a good size for the price (12.00 at time of purchase). A little goes a long way so the bottle will last a long time, even with larger sized makes.
