How to find a replacement cartridge for your pool or spa?
If you already know your filter cartridge's part number or the replacement number, you can use the search the part number on our product page to quickly confirm whether the filter is compatible.
If you do not know the replacement part number for your cartridge, then choosing the right cartridge can be accomplished by measuring your existing one. Use the following steps as a guide:
1. Measure the outside diameter of the cartridge in inches (+/- 1/16th inch)
2. Measure cartridge length from end cap to end cap (+/- 1/16th inch). Exclude any handles or extensions.
3. Identify the correct top and bottom type. If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (+/- 1/16th inch). If the end cap is closed make note of its identifying features.
4. Make note of the manufacturer and model number of the filter into which the replacement cartridge will be installed.
5. Take note whether or not there is a center core (PVC pipe in center).

The 2024 POOLPURE Solar Powered Automatic Robotic Pool Skimmer is a practical option for light pool maintenance but has some drawbacks. Its dual power system allows for up to 12 hours of operation in sunlight or 3 hours on battery, though cloudy days can hinder its effectiveness. The obstacle avoidance system works well in most cases, but it can struggle with tight corners, making it less ideal for uniquely shaped pools.The 180-micron filter does a decent job with regular debris but struggles with finer particles or heavy loads after storms, making it feel underpowered during busy seasons. Built for durability, it resists salt, chlorine, and UV damage, suitable for various pools. The chlorine tablet compartment is a useful but minor addition.One notable downside is the silicone cap on the power button, which doesn’t seem to hold up well. It frequently falls off, raising questions about whether it’s meant to serve as a waterproofing measure. This design flaw feels like an oversight, especially for a product that’s constantly in contact with water.As for the mention of “living in AstraZeneca” on page 7 of the owner’s manual—well, that’s definitely an error. It’s probably just a translation mistake or a typo, but it’s a strange one for sure.Considering its price point at time of review, the POOLPURE skimmer makes pool maintenance easier and is worth considering for routine cleaning, but it’s not without minor flaws.

Its debris collection compartment is easy to remove and clean.The solar power feature is beneficial in sunny conditions but may struggle to operate effectively on cloudy or overcast days, limiting its functionality during poor weather.

It's very difficult to review an item like this in the winter when our pool has already been closed for the season, but here goes: What I can say about this, is it FEELS high quality. As in, out of the box, nothing feels flimsy or cheaply made, so I'm optimistic it'll work as advertised. I like that it can be charged either via solar energy or by plugging it in. I'm always dubious about relying solely on automatic cleaners, but I think it'll help us cut down on the manual pool skimming we seem to constantly be doing!
