This boning was easy to use and made a huge difference in the support of a wedding dress bodice that I made. My machine easily sewed over and around this and it was easy to cut and trim to size.

This has done the job very well for making some 18th century stays (corset). It has the real bonus of being able to sew through it with the sewing machine. I found sanding the ends to be a bit of a nightmare because it just ended up a fluffy mess. So instead I burned the ends with a candle to melt the plastic a bit and then used my finger to make it round and smooth with no sharp bits. I haven't worn the stays yet, but it has been easy to work with.

This is great value for the money. Plastic boning without the casing. Great for dresses, corsets, etc. Durable and easy to use. I would highly recommend this especially if you are making patterns that call for 1/4 inch boning.

I love having a bulk boning. Every dress, costume, corset is going to need a different length. This makes it so much easier with out the waist of precut pieces make. High quality, value for the money, & perfect for every project.
