I have the 780 spa from Sundance and this filter seems to be a perfect fit. The price is quite a bit cheaper than the OEM options in my area. I will say that the only thing I notice when comparing this to an OEM filter is that it feels a little bit less porous, meaning that I feel like the OEM filter might perform a little bit better. That being said, for the price I think this is a great option.

I have a 780 Sundance Chelsee spa, and this filter fit perfectly. So far, it seems to function just as well as the name-brand filter I've used in the past. This one is cheaper, so it's a no-brainer for me, as it is a good value.

So these filters are about a buck and a half less expensive than the manufacturer's (OEM) filter (Sundance). They are relatively the same size but the density of the filter is readily evident. This filter has more give to it - it's not as firm as the OEM filter. Thinking in terms of a mattress - the OEM would be an extra firm whereas this filter would be a medium firm. That being said, even not being as firm and dense as the OEM filter it still looks dense enough to filter out the finest of particulates. For just a buck and a half, though, I think I'd rather stick with the OEM.

I ordered the Pokin Hot Tub Filter Replacement to use on my Sundance Montclair 780 spa. This product is the 6540-502 filter which is attaced to the longer 6540-501 filter and screwed in place with the plastic end cap. After the filter had been installed and in use for a few days I could visibly its effectiveness. The filter can be hosed off with a high pressure stream a few times to clean it and then reused. When I notice the filter is beginning to deteriorate, I replace it. I found this filter to be comparable to the OEM filter.
