Ich würde mir kein Auto mit diesem Markennamen kaufen ;)Aber diese Pffermühle und auch die beige Version als Salzmühle sind einfach top.Sehr gute Verarbeitung und ein echter Hingucker im klassischen Design... auf jedem Esstisch!100%-ige Kaufempfehlung

Seit einem Jahr im Einsatz und sehr zufrieden.Mahlt gut (hier bunten Pfeffer), und auch die Mahlgradeinstellung funktioniert einfach und gut.

This is an excellent pepper mill, it feels exquisite in your hands and is exceptionally well made, it's also Made in France (even the mechanism!). The mechanism crushes pepper with ease and it's easy to get a consistent grind on your pepper. The included peppercorns are also pretty good, and a good starter if you need to get going immediately after getting this.My biggest issue with this item, and the reason for 4-stars on what should be a 5-star item is that it's shipped in an unsealed plastic bag from the factory -- no bag. Seriously? For $66, give me a box! There's no way i can recommend this to others who want to gift it as you'll have to go procure a box or just wrap this as is in its bag.Yes, the pepper mill itself is fantastic but we're judging this as a whole product, and I cannot get over the way it's sent out from the factory, I really wish they would change the packaging so that its somewhat presentable -- use a blank or lightly printed brown box if you must, it's probably better for the environment than a plastic bag!Overall, it's an excellent pepper mill, and I would absolutely recommend this to others, just know that if you plan on gifting it, it will arrive in a plastic bag. I am also slightly confused by the pricing of this mill and others that Peugeot sells on Amazon, you can get basically the same one for less -- which might reduce the sting of getting a mill like this in a plastic bag :D

Although I instantly recognized the name, I had no idea that Peugeot made pepper mills until I saw this. The price tag is high and there are definitely cheaper options that will work just fine, but this is a case of getting what you pay for. The quality of the wood and solid build of this pepper mill is immediately apparent as soon as you pick it up. All pieces turn not just effortlessly, but smoothly with just the right amount of resistance. This mill is beautiful in its simplicity and quality. The branded lion on the top knob is a nice touch, and you can easily adjust the size of the grind to meet whatever your personal preference might be. I would choose this over an electric grinder any day.

Update: Having owned this for several months now I have to say I love it and use it daily It has a choice of perfect grinds. I covered the chip with a Sharpie and now am not sure where it is. I still wish I could have gifted it, but it is a great pepper mill.I am rating this mill 2 stars to highlight the fact the it arrived chipped. This really saddens me because I have looked for a quality pepper mill like this for years. It is a legitimate Peugeot Made In France mill with an easy-to-adjust grinder (I like the results on 3). Amazon is shipping most items in bags these days, but that was not the problem. The mill itself was not boxed but rather in 3 pieces (base, head, and nut) loose in an inner plastic bag, and that's where the damage occurred. For the price I cannot recommend anyone buy this until you see some reviews indicating the packaging problem has been addressed.
