Diese Peugeot Mühle aus Olivenholz und Edelstahl ist ein unentbehrliches Instrument für Liebhaber grober Salze. Ausgestattet mit einem exklusiven Mahlwerk aus gegen Korrosion geschütztem Edelstahl, das speziell für trockenes Meersalz und Steinsalz entwickelt wurde, gewährleistet die zeitlose Mühle ein effizientes Mahlen. The mill I received has clearly been used evident by a black stain on the inner cap of the grinder, absolutely unacceptable and returned straight back to Amazon. In addition, the refilling mechanism on this model is horrendous, not sure if it is by design or whether the one I received was defective but a heads up for anyone looking into purchasing this specific model.

Won't grind large (green) peppercorns. Top loosens as it's being used. I thought I would get better quality for this price. I cook 5 to 6 nights a week and love pepper. It took 2 years to wear out my last pepper mill, but it was FAR less expensive. I could have purchased cheap ones every two years for the rest of my life, and still be $$$ ahead.

Got this + the matching pepper mill. It's beautiful, feels super sturdy. The grinding teeth just don't seem to do a great job of grabbing the salt? Using Pink Himalyanan Sea Salt from Costco, so maybe it's just too big or not grabby enough. The pepper grinder works great though!

I really love this salt mill. I bought the matching pepper mill and they are both beautiful and work smoothly. I did purchase those separately and was pleased to see that the logo on the knob of the salt mill is white, while the logo on the pepper mill is black. This is a subtle, but easy way to tell the difference between the two.I read a number of reviews which mention that the mill cannot grind down larger salt crystals, however I believe this has a simple fix: When refilling the grinder, the knob at the top, which is also used to adjust coarseness, unscrews and is removed. This loosens the grinding mechanism at the bottom of the grinder, allowing the larger salt rocks to fall down into the grinding mechanism, which wedges the mechanism into a very coarse-grind setting. Then the knob is screwed back on, but it is not screwed on as tightly as before due to the blockage, which sets the new grinding at a very coarse grind. The trick is to simply flip the mill upside down at this point, which will release the salt rocks back into the mill from the grinding mechanism, and screw the knob tighter. This closes the mechanism down and allows for a finer grind.My aunt has a Peugeot pepper mill that worked so well, that I have had it on my wish list for the last two years. Don’t know what took me so long, but I finally bought myself a set and I’m very happy with them. Highly recommended.

Leider ist die Mühle wirklich nicht gut. Das Salz fällt permanent durch und man hat dauernd Salz überall verstreut liegen. Mahlgrad lässt sich ebenfalls nicht genau einstellen, nur grob oder fast Staub. Deckel löst sich sehr schnell an der Verschraubung.Kurz gesagt, Schmutz!

Habe lange überlegt, ob ich sie kaufen soll. Bin voll zufrieden. Lieferung war flott. Mühle mahlt sehr gut und ist sehr schön gearbeitet.

Es kommt definitiv zu wenig Salz aus der Mühle. Um ein Steak zu würzen okay, aber nicht, um die Mühle beim Kochen selbst zu verwenden. Schade!

Die Salzmühle konnte leider nicht wirklich überzeugen. Die Verarbeitung war super! Aber... entweder kam gar nichts oder das Salz war viel zu grob. Die Pfeffermühle konnte dagenen sehr überzeugen... :/

Beautiful but not useful, especially when it comes to the grind level adjustment that is not comfortable at all. There are a lot of alternatives for liver price and I think same or better quality.
