This product does NOT come with "FREE 5 yards of 1" Tubular Webbing" as advertised. Can purchase carabiner cheaper somewhere else. I choose this listing because of the promotion. Beware

I'm not using it for climbing, but to hold a bunch of keys. (getting ready for the flame war from real climbers who might complain that I shouldn't review it).For what I do, it's perfect albeit very big of course, like any real carabiner.The locking mechanism seems really solid and should last a long time IMO. One needs to move the gate up then twist it to open, and this is the reason I bought it.One-hand operation is possible but not easy. And if someone climbing needed to attach that using one hand, I think this would get old really fast.Honestly if Petzl wanted to do a "not for climbing" version of the same with everything scaled down by a factor of 1.5 to 2, they would have a huge winner for folks who have many key rings, do not care about the look but only care about not losing any of the keys under any circumstance. :-)

Not sure if this design is for me, it is somewhat difficult to perform the lifting up, and spinning motion to release the lock with one hand when there is no opposite force applied to the biner

I like the look of this carabiner. My only complaint is the opening is different from all of my other autolockers. All of my other carabiners you push down and turn. But this one you pull up and turn. Not that that is bad, I just have to remember that this one is different.Easy to open with one hand. Great product.

this carabiner was easy to use one-handed when attached to my harness. action isn't difficult. it is a long pull up before the twist but it doesn't take much force. very secure and built well.
