I loveee this collar for my dog, seems like it’s the only breakaway collar on Amazon. I bought another collar from Amazon claiming it was a “breakaway” n it was not! after doing a test with the collar, the latch would not release when you tug hard on it. A breakaway collar should come apart when there is force being pulled on the collar, which this collar does! I did the test before putting it on my dog, aka the pull test and it released! Highly recommend breakaway collars for dogs because if it’s not a breakaway, your dog could get caught on something and suffocate. Hope this help!

Busqué este tipo de collar por todos lados y solo lo encontré en Amazon. Tengo dos perros que se la pasan jugando y se jalan del collar a cada rato, ya hace tiempo había visto que muchos se llegan a atorar y al jalar para destrabarse llegan a axfixiar al otro perro o al quedarse solos en casa se atoran de alguna manera y se jalan provocando el mismo resultado. Es un problema mucho más común de lo que se piensa y no entiendo como es tan difícil encontrar collares asi.El collar no sólo es muy bonito y de buena calidad, funciona muy bien y tiene un precio excelente. Lo recomiendo muchísimo! Las tallas recomendadas por el vendedor inicialmente me parecieron chicas pero al ver otros comentarios decidí hacerles caso. En efecto las tallas recomendadas son correctas, no hay necesidad de pedir más grandes.

Pros:- Side release buckle makes removing the collar easy without needing to mess with the breakaway or loosen to slip off. Even though this is a breakaway collar, it's never safe to crate a dog with a collar on so it's fast to pop on and off.- Additional tag attachment point separate from d-rings. Placing tags on the same point that you attach the leash isn't safe (risk of accidentally attaching your leash to the tag's split ring and then your dog breaking free tagless) so this makes walking safe if you choose to use this collar for walks as well.- All brass hardware (excluding the buckle). Brass is stronger than nickel.- High quality webbing & vivid colour.- Breakaway only opens when decent pressure is placed on the collar, so you can quickly grab the collar without worry of the breakaway opening.Cons:- Only comes in a 1" width. This is fine for small & medium dogs, but dogs large and up should really only have a 1.25"+ width if the collar is to be used for walking. I have a Great Dane, and we just use this collar for tags.- Limited colour selectionOverall:I would buy this product again and will be purchasing another for my other dog. Would also recommend to my friends or people I know in the dog industry.
