Wer hier rummeckert, 39€, hat von Messern wenig wissen. Damast, Holz, Griffgestaltung, Klingenschliff, alles perfekt. Lederscheide passt. Messergriff etwas ölen und waxen, lederscheide ölen und fetten vertig ist das messerchen. Handhabe und Schneidleistung nach 3-Wochen Test als EDC mehr als zufrieden. Wer natürlich alles vom allerfeinsten will und "Aut off the Box" der muss halt bereit sein wesentlich tiefer in die Tasche zu gehen.

Messer Top, Scheide aber nicht passend.Sie ist zu lang und zu schmal. Würde der Griff mit reinpassen, wäre alles gut.So schaut der schwere Griff aber oben raus und das Messer Rutsch sehr leicht heraus, schon beim Laufen oder hinsetzen, wenn man es am Gürtel trägt.Mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass der Griff bei meinem Messer viel dicker an der Klinge ist als auf der Abbildung. Daher passt es nicht in die mitgelieferte Scheide.Wäre toll, wenn das bei Perkin vor dem Verpacken getestet würde...

Got it with a bit of rust on the blade. But other than that I still use it and keeps a nice edge

Dass man für rund 50 € kein Meisterwerk der Messerkunst erwarten kann ist schon klar. Jedoch sollte man mindestens das erwarten können, was einem in der Produktbeschreibung versprochen wird. Der Härtegrad des Stahls ist lächerlich und mit sicherheit keine 56 HRC auf der Rockwell-Skala. Schon mit leichtem Druck lassen sich tiefe Dellen in die Messerschneide drücken. Somit ist das Messer in diesem Zusand völlig unbrauchbar. Von einem Kauf würde ich in jedem Fall abraten.

Arrived decently sharp. Real leather sheath. Actual inlays in scales. Not perfect grinds but. perfectly functional. True Damascus blade. Larger than pictured but ready to cut/slice. A true bargain. Sheath snug but does fit the knife. Heavily stitched for longevity. Leather will stretch with use. Good buy. Mosaic pins in hilt. Well done for the price def. Damascus.Now have had it for two months in a shed, in Florida. No rust whatsoever. putting a few finger grooves in hilt. Wood is hard and the steel every bit as hard as advertised. Nice to customize a custom knife. Great great value.have had for 2months in the sheath, no rust. Rust a non-issue for me.

Secondo coltello da me acquistato della Perkins. bello a prima vista con un difetto grossolano.. Il filo era completamente storto. Ci sta alla fine è un prodotto semi-artigianale quindi una pecca del finale controllo qualità può succedere. Nota dolente il fodero: terribile alla vista ( per favore cambiate la forma!!) e per giunta piccolo tanto da non contenere completamente il coltello. Perkins una volta migliorate queste cose rifarò l'ordine perché ne vale la pena e ovviamente cambierò la mia recensione. Reso perfetto da parte di Amazon.

I bought this knife after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews. With that said I received the knife and it looked different from the advertised/pictured knife shown. I thought I probably received the wrong knife so I decided to send it back and purchase another. Before returning the first knife I purchased another to see the difference between the new and first knife. Both looked the same but, not like the advertised/pictures shown. Now, I took the next step and wrote to the company (Perkins) and felt like I received answers to someone else’s emails. Plus, I added pictures, which when reading the replies, it appeared as if they were not looked at. I’ll add one of the pictures I sent and those who read this can tell me if you can find the difference. It’s a nice looking knife on its own but, not identical to what is clearly shown on the advertised knife. 3 stars for a nice knife minus 2 because of the obvious difference of the knifes I bought and the advertised knife I looked forward to.

Il coltello è bello a vedersi però presentava diversi difetti: il filo da rifare, l'impugnatura da sistemare perchè finita grossolanamente e la custodia che sembra cartone più che pelle. Un appunto ad una recensione precedente che mi ha tratto in inganno: questo è acciaio damascato e non di damasco nel senso che è stato acidato come riportato nel foglitto illustrativo della ditta. Considerando che l'ho acquistato in offerta a 41,55 me lo tengo ma non lo ricomprerei.
