Achtung Fake!!!Ich besitze mehrer Damast Messer.Zu erst hat mich gewundert das man die Struktur die typisch für Damast ist auf dem Messer fühlen kann. Als ob sie von außen angebracht wäre. Wie auf meinen Bilder zu sehen ist lässt es sich ohne weiters abschleifen. Darunter ist billiger stahl. Auch ist der Griff wie auf den Bildern billig verarbeitet.

Ich habe heute das Messer erhalten und es sieht optisch sehr schön aus. Perfekt um in die Vitrine zu stellen den zu mehr eignet es sich nicht wirklich, wenn man es dafür benutzen will wofür so ein Messer eigentlich geschmiedet wurde.Ich habe Küchenmesser von Lidl und Aldi die schärfer sind als dieses (gut kann man natürlich mit nem gescheiten Schleifstein nachschleifen).Doch das K.O. Gab es nach einem kleinen Belastungstest mit einem Mandarinenkörbchen.Das ist wirklich ein weiches Holz doch schon nach 10-15 mal hacken gab es kleine Kerben die zu sehen waren und mit dem Fingernagel zu spüren waren.Genau dies sollte bei einem Damast - Jagdmesser nicht passieren. Was wird wohl erst passieren wenn man Kleinholz für ein Lagerfeuer braucht? Oder man keinen Dosenöffner beim Campen hat?Ich möchte es nicht herausfinden und investiere jetzt lieber das 4 fache in ein gescheites Messer von Schmiedeglut, mit dem solche Aufgaben ein Kinderspiel sind.

Very nice knife i love the feel of the weight and how it fits in my hand. great value compared to knives three times the price. I requested a different sheath and they gladly obliged and it looks fantastic, top notch customer service. I did have to pay customs fee of 20$ on another knife i bought from them which was shipped from England which is understandable, but not this knife it was shipped by amazon and was free with prime, double check if you are not sure if you dont want to be suprised.

Das Messer ist zwar schön, aber leider absolut untauglich. Nach ein bisschen herumhacken und -stochern in trockenem Holz, war die Spitze verbogen und die Schneide schartig. Kann man zum Anschauen in die Vitrine stellen, aber damit arbeiten kann man nicht. Hab mich von anderen Rezensionen blenden lassen.

Ordered 8 knives as wedding favors for the boys. 1 of them didn't match the others but was replaced without issue. Great gift for the crew and fantastic value.

Sehr schönes Messer !Für das Geld wirklich super verarbeitet und gute Materialien verwendet .Das ist echter Damast hier ist nicht gelasert oder ähnliches . Danke für das wirklich hervorragende Messer

Vielleicht war ich hier etwas leichtgläubig. Jedenfalls suchte ich ein echtes Damstmesser und stieß auch auf dieses hier.Es ist keines, sondern als Deko aufgeäzt!An sich ist es wahrscheinlich gar kein schlechtes Messer, denn die Verarbeitung gefällt und es liegt gut in der Hand.Zweiter Schwachpunkt ist allerdings die fehlende Beschreibung zur Größe, denn das Teil ist sehr deutlich über 12 cm lang. Sowas sollte man einfach in der Beschreibung klarstellen!!

Ok first off i had a day from he double hockey sticks so i wont do a review video today but i will and post it here....That being said i paid full listing price for this knife so ther is ne benefit for me reviewing this blade.Ok first off this is hand made so expect some inperfections and its carbon steel which will rust is not cared for properly.Now the knife...... It is a solid peice of beautiful art and craftsmanship!!!!Its full damascus with ( my guess) atleast 50 folds of steel.No cracking with a tool steel punch tested hardened blade.The grind is not 100% centered but that does not effect the tested cuting profile and there is a slight inperfection in the convex grind at the hilt.....which again doesnt effect the use of this blade.Now the good points......it is proven shaving sharp and when tested there is no edge deflection when the edge is pressed to the side and impressive minamal side flex when put in a vise and loaded with 40 pounds.The spine is straight, handle is very dourable no cracking anywhere on the blade or handle.....by far a superior blade i would rely on for any situation.The sheath is double stitched leather and fits the knife well both verticle and horizontal.The knife fits snug with minamal play.All in all in my opinion this is a $200 knife for $69 which is a steal.And yes i tested this blade well and shaved with it out of the box.This issues i discribed are astecic only if you really look close but you will not notice them if you actually use this blade.But hey you have minor flaws with hand made its expected....but its well worth every penny and more.It says a lot when a center punch wont dent it with w 30 pound hit.I will be retiring me 22 year old buck and replacing it with a perkins blade plus trying out a folding knife from perkins compared to my $140 case xx i always carry and have fpr 5 years......make no mistake this knife is worth it!!!!!
