Works well on oil paints, fragrant but not overpowering in a small space. I paint in a basement using oil paints.

I have bunch of Humbrol Enamel paints sitting around for a long time and ran out thinners. This one works perfectly for me to thin those paints and clean up the mess. Recommended!

I'm sure it's perfectly good turps, but it arrived with a plastic child safety cap that was broken. I had a hard time opening it, and now I'm afraid to put it back on in case I can't open it again. I've got it covered with a thick piece of plastic and a rubber band until I can find a replacement cap that fits. This was packaged loose inside a cardboard box. The bottle is glass, so it's lucky nothing worse happened, as the fumes are harmful and flammable. Needs to be packaged better for shipping.
