It’s okay- it can get the trick done but you cannot use without a timer. Wish it just had a stay-on position. Overpriced for quality. Flimsy. Gold handles are unattractive. Like I said- it’ll work but it’s not a great product. I’d imagine there are better options in the price range.

I really like my bread proofing box. It does a job you set the temperature that you want for your door to rise. That’s all you need you pack it up and put it away when you don’t want it.

I found the size unusable for most breads I make. Generally I do the first proof in the bread machine, then form the dough and proof again. A tray of dinner rolls, or an Italian or French loaf, won't fit in this.So I thought it might make a great bun warmer, to keep the finished products warm until serving. Again, no luck. I couldn't get it above 80-85F even leaving it on high for a couple of hours in a 70+F kitchen.I suppose it could be helpful for the first rise if that's what you need.

There is no indication as to what setting the temperature will achieve. The controller has numbers 1-9. I had to refer back to this site and the pictures to check temps. I set up this bread proofer and got out my thermpro to test and make sure the temps are accurate. I tested several settings for several hours and it is completely inaccurate. Number 9 and 5 are the exact same temp, and number 2 was only 5 degrees off of that.
