Hard to get the right amount of food to drop through the opening when using flake. Either very little drops or half of the container drops

Bought as a trial for feeding fish whilst on holiday. It's so good it's a permanent feeder.

Good feeder that works well. It's easy to use and just the right size for a weekend or even a week away. Plenty of different settings to cover most types of use. Good value.

The body of this feeder from Pawfly looks fairly well made, it features a clear LCD digital clock that is easy to set and program, you can set three separate feeding programs throughout 24 hours with up to 3 feeds per program, programming is simple and easily understood. The battery is rechargeable and, so far, the battery life is excellent on dry run testing, the display also shows battery level which is handy. The feeder features a clamp that is rotatable through 360 degrees, the clamp is just about adequate but is quite flimsy.The actual food compartment could be better, I found the feed adjustment aperture a little flimsy and awkward to adjust, and the plastics feel very cheap, on the other hand, the 200ml food compartment is plenty big enough for many feeds. The feeding compartment rotates to dispense food, each rotation is one feed, the feeder is also very quiet in operation and will not disturb fish. The dispenser is removable from the main body of the feeder for cleaning.Now onto the major downside of this feeder, I'd suggest you check your tank before buying!!I have a Fluval Roma 125 and this feeder will not clamp onto the edge of the tank as it has a plastic trim around the top with a bevelled edge, this is specific to this tank and this feeder will fit on tanks that don't feature a closed top, the feeder will simply clamp to the glass of the tank, the feeder can also be stuck to the top of a tank lid using the supplied adhesive pad to work through a feeding hole, but yet again my tank does not have a feeding hole, just a lift up top. I have the means to design and make an attachment to enable this feeder to work on my tank or make a feeding access in the top.A great feeder for holiday periods or extended periods where feeding is needed, just check it will fit beforehand.
