Ich hatte im Verlauf der Jahre bereits das eine und andere Gerät der bekannten japanischen Marke Panasonic unter anderem aufgrund von guten Testergebnissen in der Fachpresse gekauft. Dabei handelt/handelte es sich in meinem Fall zumeist um Geräte der Unterhaltungselektronik, beispielsweise einem Festplattenrecorder, wie auch dieses hier zu bewertende Gerät der Unterhaltungselektronik zuzuordnen ist.Ich hatte in meinem Arbeitszimmer bisher ein simples Radiogerät, das dann zum Einsatz kam, wenn ich mich einfach nur zurücklehnen und einen Radiosender hören wollte – speziell zur vollen Stunde zum Hören der Nachrichten.Mit diesem Gerät hier bekomme ich allerdings etwas, das bedeutend mehr kann, als nur ein paar UKW-Sender wiederzugeben und das bisher nicht gerade in bester Qualität. Das ist nun anders, denn bei diesem Panasonic Gerät wird mir eine ganze Menge geboten.Dazu gehört meines Erachtens in erster Linie die Möglichkeit, den Apparat per WLAN mit dem Internet zu verbinden, um dann Zugriff auf jede Menge Internet-Sender zu haben. Das klappt dann in relativ kurzer Zeit, denn die Eingabe des WLAN-Passwortes über die Fernbedienung dauert dann doch etwas. Wenn das Passwort stimmt, wird die Verbindung schließlich sehr schnell hergestellt.Erfreut bin ich auch darüber, dass der DAB-Empfang ganz gut klappt. Eine Einschränkung ist hier sicherlich, dass wir auf dem Land zu Hause sind und der Empfang bezüglich der Anzahl der Sender eben nicht unbedingt der Beste ist, wofür das Gerät aber natürlich nichts kann.Weiterhin wird die Möglichkeit geboten, auf der Rückseite des Gerätes einen USB Stick einzustecken und die darauf gespeicherte Musik abzuspielen.Last not least unterstützt der Apparat Bluetooth-Empfang, kann also auch auf diesem Wege zum Beispiel auf dem Smartphone gespeicherte Musik wiedergeben.Ein 2,4“ großes Farbdisplay informiert über alle Einstellungen und so bleibt auch diesbezüglich kein Wunsch unerfüllt.Das klappt alles hervorragend, wobei ich die Qualität der Musikwiedergabe für durchaus gut halte. Man muss dabei schließlich immer berücksichtigen, dass ein Markenprodukt, das aktuell bei Amazon für 107,39 € verkauft wird, nicht die Qualität einer HiFi Anlage erreichen kann, die oftmals ein Vielfaches dieses Betrages kostet.Die Bedienung ist einfach gehalten, wodurch sich der Griff zur umfangreichen Bedienungsanleitung erfreulich schnell erledigt hat.Insgesamt erhält man hier ein modernes Radiogerät, das meiner Meinung nach ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aufweist.Der Artikel bekommt von mir 5 Sterne.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Certainly a great radio unit for the price. Works well straight out of the box, having all types of ways to access radio is great. Internet radio stations are split by regions and countries, which is handy if you like international radio, and ability to save them in presets so you don't have to look for them again is definitely helpful. No problems with Bluetooth or WiFi connections. Speakers are decent but wouldn't say that they are amazing, sound can be less tinny and crispier, but you usually need to pay more for great speakers.LED display is clear and responsive, don't notice any response lags and menus are easy to navigate and you don't get lost in them.

The most important thing for me was the sound quality and I've not been disappointed. Fantastic clarity for both music and speech. It's my first experience of an internet capable radio and I'm astonished at the number of available channels as well as the variety of content. 2 or 3 weeks down the line and I'm still exploring and finding new favourites.

Panasonic, RF-D40EGK-K internet,DAB/FM, usb and bluetooth Radio with 6W, 7.5cm speakers it gives you crystal clear sound. It has a good sized TFT colour 2.4 in LCD screen, easy yo see your choices. This also has an alarm with sleep timer, remote control, and a stong ariel to pick up FM. A important how to use booklet, it was easy to set up.Panasonic is a name you can trust for great quality and sound.Great price. I love it.

This radio certainly ticks a lot of boxes for my wife and I. Firstly, it came with an easy-to-follow instruction booklet (ideal for a technophobe like me). So, I soon had this unit up and running. To say that this Panasonic radio is versatile would be an understatement. We think it’s great that we’re able to easily access FM, DAB, Local and Internet radio stations (allowing for a total of 30 presets). In addition, we can listen to podcasts - and even preset our favourite ones. It’s also nice to be able to play an audio device on this unit via Bluetooth. A bonus for me is the inclusion of a USB port on the rear panel which means I can play the numerous albums I have stored as MP3’s - happy days! Music and audio comes across clean and crisp, and the twin speakers provide more than enough volume to suit our requirements.Visually, this is an attractive radio with a brushed steel face and a clear, colour LED screen. The power cable is a generous 1.5m long. Overall, my wife and I are very pleased with this radio which we have situated in our bedroom - to take advantage of its alarm function. Highly recommended.
