Der Badeanzug von Owntop ist soweit gut verarbeitet und schaut auch gut aus. Ich finde, er hat in allen Bereichen einen guten Halt, so dass er eine recht schöne Figur formt (auch bei großen Größen). Er besteht aus dem langarmigen Oberteil mit Reißverschluss und dann einer passenden Schwimmhose dazu. Ich bin soweit zufrieden und vergebe hier vier Sterne.

Gerade anprobiert im trocken, morgen geht’s ab ins Wasser.Der Stoff fühlt sich gut an, manche Stellen sind doppelt belegt. Die innere Seite der Badehose hat sowas auch, etwas komisch gemacht, mal schauen. Inklusive abnehmbares BH Polster.

Cooler Badeanzug mit halblangen Beinen und langen Ärmeln. Ich habe seit zwei Jahren angefangen, sogenannte bedeckende Bademode zu tragen, weil es so viel einfacher ist, lange Ärmel und eine Art Radlerhose oder sogar Capri zu tragen, als sich dauernd dick mit Sonnencreme einzucremen, wobei man selbst nichtmal an alle Stellen kommt und auch mehrfach nachcremen muss, was teuer ist. Da ziehe ich mir lieber ein Badeshirt und eine Radlerhose an. Den Begriff "rash guard" kenne ich von einer Dokuserie über australische Surfer. Da die UV Belastung in Australien weitaus höher als in Deutschland ist, ziehen sich die Menschen dort von seit langem Badekleidung mit langen Ärmeln und Beinen an, was ich äusserst praktisch finde und sehr happy bin, dass sich das langsam auch bei uns etabliert und man mehr Auswahl hat als einfach nur schwarz (ich mag schwarz, aber ab und zu hab ich doch gern mal ein paar Farben oder Muster). Dieser Schwimmanzug gefällt mir super und passt mir sehr gut und schützt vor Sonnenbrand. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit.

Fits well for size 14/16. The top is easy to zip up and the shorts feel comfortable as well. Perfect material for the pool and water!

I have another 2 piece set with shorts but it has a vest-type top and I prefer to have my arms covered. This one having long sleeves is much better for me because I burn easily.Fit-wise I found it to be ok. Obviously at this point all I have done is try it on for size, but from this I think it's going to be ok for the way I will use it. I found the shorts are a little loose but since I intend to wear it over the top of a smaller costume this isn't going to be a problem for me as I'll need the extra wiggle room. The top fits nicely, but I did remove the padding from it as I do not like padded tops.If you wanted to properly swim in it I would check the sizing very carefully. With the shorts being a bit loose they could be an issue, but I will use these for water sports so I think they'll be fine.I really like the colour. The blue is very lively and fun and works well with the darker blue.

I ordered this 2 piece rash guard & boy shorts suit to use in the summer as they are lighter to use & easier to get into than a wet suit.As a larger lady, I’m not a fan of swimwear & would rather my lumps & bumps be well covered. I’ve tried one piece boy short suits in the past but they are a nightmare to get in & out of, especially when you need the loo. I’ve had a number of different tankini options but generally the top rides up or the bottoms roll down as they are designed for the beach rather than swimming. I’ve been using a pull on rash vest & full length swimming leggings which have been great but they are a full on workout to get off when you are wet. This set appealed to me as shorts are generally easier to get on than leggings as they are wider so go over your feet, especially when you are on the sand & a zipped top is always easier than a pull-on.Sizes are always a bit hit & miss when ordering online. I wear a UK size 22-24 generally but buy anything from a size 18 to a size 28 depending on the amazingly vast difference in sizes & fit when you actually try them on. When buying from Amazon, I’m generally looking at a 4XL or a 5XL depending on the measurements, but opted for the 5XL as this type of swimwear is generally snug. I’m actually pretty happy with the sizing as it feels comfortable & I don’t feel trussed up like a Christmas turkey. I could probably have gotten away with the 4XL on the bottom but the 5XL fits my bangers better. I’m happy with a bit more freedom to move & there’s no point trying to kid myself that I’m going to slim down for the summer!The material is good quality & doesn’t go see-through when stretched. It certainly looks to be UPF 50+ UV block fabric so should stand up well to sun, sea & sand. It stretches well in all directions & the stitching is all intact, sewn correctly, with no pulled tightness round the sleeve cuffs or short legs. The black & white pattern on the arms & waist band is a nice contrast from being all black & I can also mix & match the two pieces with my existing swimwear to give me more options.At around £30 for the set, it’s competitively priced for online shopping & less than many high street options.
