I did not realize this was a single frame and 6 replacement media panels. They have worked well for the fist month. My wife has allergies and after 30 days has asked to replace the first one. That’s not too bad for our house. We also have cats so that lends to the more frequent replacements. No fault of the manufacturer. I will update if I experience any issues.

These are very nice filters and have a Merv 8 rating, which is higher than many filters on the market, and higher than what I was using previously. It's not too difficult to change the filter media inside the plastic frame as long as you are careful and pay attention to make sure the media lines up correctly with the frame.

we tried using cheap filters because I was told by a air condition person that those cheap filters with the swirly blue stuff in them works just as well as anything else and that it's mostly marketing. Not only that - higher filtration filters put a lot of strain on your ac unit because they have to suck harder. Anyway - my ac sucks hard (hehe) - the cheap filters bow and look like they are going to get sucked up in there but, the worst thing is they make this awful loud noise the whole time it's running! I switched to this thing because it doesn't filter too hard and looks solid. It is - very solid - totally eliminated most of the noise - because it's thin - when the AC kicks on - you can hear it bang into the top of the filter casing - that's the only noise it makes. Highly recommend.

I originally bought these Nov '23 so it's been a year and I'm just now needing more (Nov '24). They're easy to install. The frame fits perfectly and is quite sturdy. The quality of the actual filters is higher than I expected. They hardly reduce the air flow. Our system is 20+ years old so we can't put anything higher than a Merv 8 without increasing our electric bill. The cost is reasonable considering that you are getting 7 filters. I feel that these function better than standard disposable filters. Overall all a big 👍!

This is truly a good product, most excellent.I purchased this primarily for the frame. The frame is excellent quality, and fits close to perfect in my return filter grille. There is a slight vertical gap, about 1/8 inch and of no concern, and easily shimmed if it were bothersome.- The frame came with a preinstalled filter.- Also received were 6 replacement filters, in 3 packs of 2 each replacement filters,- A total of 7 filters, as advertised in the product description and also discussed in the vendor's responses to other's questions.- The supplied filters are excellent quality, and should be enough to last most systems at least 7 months to over a year if changed every two months.The frame is perfect for my needs. I am using it to hold a carbon pre-filter cut to size at my return filter grille. I have a 20 x 20 x 4 inch media filter closer to the furnace, also coupled with a heat pump. Dual system, heat-pump and furnace, 20 inch diameter flex return on a 35 foot run. Negligible pressure drop using this frame as a pre-filter with carbon pad, or other low merv-mpr-fpr filter material. I keep the fan running 24/7, always on, always filtering and recirculating air in the home.I could get by using the supplied filters a pre-filters as well. They have good air flow, based on their design, and the pressure drop was of little concern with no alarming or adverse drop in airflow when put in place.I liked this product so much, I purchased another to keep as a spare or use elsewhere.Five Stars:- Excellent quality- Easy to use, near perfect fit, as advertised, much better than expected- Far more economical than purchasing cardboard framed fiberglass or pleated filters found in hardware or grocery stores- More efficient airflow compared to those other filters of comparable merv-mpr-fpr ratings. The manufacturer and vendor are not lying about this claim.
