I bought this because I needed to cut circles out of 2.6-2.8mm belting leather and trying to do it with a hand cutter was very difficult and gave less than perfect results.I found that, for me, the easiest way to cut something that thick was actually to put the pin in the centre of the section I wanted to cut out, then press down on the cutting blade end and turn the material under the cutter (instead of turning the cutter) and just keep rotating it until there was no resistance which meant I was through.If I had one complaint it's that, although it has notches on the measuring gauge, there's no numbers on the scale, so I had to use a fine marker pen to write in numbers myself, but that's a minor niggle about what is a very handy and useful tool indeed.

Wahrscheinlich braucht es nicht jeder, aber wer Kreise aus Stoffe ausschneiden muss, der bekommt das mit diesem Kreisschneider perfekt hin. Klingen sehr scharf. Gerät erklärt sich von selbst.Es ist sehr leicht und wirkt als wäre es schnell abgenutzt, bis jetzt aber alles super. Kaufempfehlung.

je voulais utiliser cet outil pour le cartonnage.ne convient pas pour découper du carton en rond. produit trop fragile tenue en mains difficiles

Ich bin sehr froh, mich für dieses Produkt entschieden zu haben. Der Kreisschneider schneidet sogar durch 3 mm dicken Filz. Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach. Die Anschaffung des Kreisschneiders kann ich nur empfehlen.

Mit diesem Kreisschneider lassen sich auch Stoffe (mit etwas Übung sogar bis zu 3 Lagen von Patchwork-Baumwolle) schneiden.Punkteabzug gibt's für:1.) das kleine 18mm Schneidrad, das es kaum nachzukaufen gibt (und wenn, dann teurer als die üblicheren 28mm und 45mm Rollschneiderklingen)2.) für die fehlende Skalen-Beschriftung (es sind zwar Markierungen für ganze und halbe Zentimeter sowie ganze, halbe und Viertel-Inch angebracht, die aber schlecht erkennbar und v.a. ohne Ziffern sind - eine milliimetergenaue Zirkel-Einstellung ist somit alles andere als einfach).

Una precisazione importante: ci sono molte taglierine a compasso in vendita, ma non tutte hanno una lama rotante al posto di una lama dritta. Questa ha una lama rotante (esattamente come la cercavo) ed è ottima per tagliare con facilità e precisione anche la stoffa (l'ho acquistata proprio per questo). La lama dritta può tirare la stoffa, mentre la lama rotante scorre sopra e la taglia con precisione. E se taglia la stoffa bene, figuriamoci la carta. Provato entrambi, ottimo risultato.La taglierina ha il coprilama e il copripunta di sicurezza. Ha il cricchetto rotante, il che rende il taglio più semplice e confortevole. Regolabile facilmente, di semplice utilizzo. Semplice e robusta. Le istruzioni, anche in italiano, sono stampate sul retro della confezione e corredate di illustrazioni. Il taglio minimo è di 4 cm di diametro, quello massimo di 22. Ho inserito qualche foto del prodotto.Ottimo acquisto.Amazon, come sempre, imbattibile per velocità di consegna , coerenza del prodotto, imballaggio.

It is using the 18mm rotary cutter blades. If you have one, you saved yourself buying additional blades. If not, these blades are inexpensive and more affordable compared to Olfa COB-1 which is used by other Olfa models or at least here in amazon.Plus, 18mm can be rotated at both directions and can cut through more materials where the ones using COB-1 can be used at single direction.Not only that, this model has ratcheting mechanism where you can rotate without loosing you grip.
