The one I received was different to the one in the picture but I contacted the head office in America and they told me it is genuine and that it was from a factory tooling change.

Wenn ihr dieses "Werkzeug" gekauft habt, zeigt es jemanden der Ahnung hat von Schleifen von Schneiden [Axt, Messer etc.] Ich hatte das Problem, das ich einem Bekannten die Schneide gezeigt hatte und der sagte mir dann, dass die Schneide nicht nur unregelmäßig geschliffen wurde sondern an einer Stelle sogar verbrannt war[blauer Farbton]. Dies kann dazu führen dass an dieser Stelle das Material schon nach kurzer Zeit bricht!Eine Anfrage an den Hersteller per Mail [englisch und deutsch] blieb außerdem unbeantwortet!

Das Tool ist als Hilfsmittel für amerikanische Lastwagenfahrer gedacht gewesen. Es vereint für ein Werkzeug diese Art sehr viele Funktionen und ist als Ergänzung des Werkzeugkastens für's Auto eine echte Bereicherung. Ich habe noch nicht alle Funktionen ausprobiert, bin aber bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Das einzige was fehlt ist eine passend Scheide für die Axtschneide.

Update, years later. In the future. I just spent all day demolishing four old, welded, rusted, dog kennels with this thing. Held up fine. I have no doubt someone'll find this 100 years from now, and continue on with it. Some of the best money I ever spent. Also for those who wanted a giant can opener, you should have bought a SPAX. I keep the blade taped off with masking tape, I don't use it. I use it for everything else. This thing is a prying CHAMP. I was literally prying welds off with it all day. ;p, and the steel bars were chipping/breaking before this, and the welds. ;pOrdered this knowing what I'd get into, with (in my opinion) its companion piece, the Stanley STHT55134 FUBAR Demolition Bar. Works amazing. Bashed through an old giant hybrid swingset fort thing earlier that had about a billion nails and screws holding it together. Was able to salvage the right pieces, and destroy the correct pieces. Smashed and pried through everything with barely a scuff in like five minutes. Pretty ridiculous. Would have taken forever, been dangerous, and cost five times as much with all the other BS tools as the normal brick and mortar stores around. It does light prying, but really need the crowbar if you ever need to get deeper in. Also the crowbar gets the nails out a little faster. Trucker tool mangles right through lighter steel and aluminum like it's absolutely nothing also. These two tools together and you can do practically anything.Can't wait to find out what else I can apply these bad boys too.

fantastico utensile che raccoglie in se diverse caratteristiche necessarie sia per il trekkink o l'outdoor.in alcuni casi forse potrebbe essere utlie anche per interventi di primo soccorso, fatto sta che io lo porto sempre con me in macchina quando vado in montagna per ogni evenienza.

Awesome, Urban, Travel, demo, Camping, (No not Zombies get real.) Axe tool!Already busted up some pallets with malice for a bonfire fire and been camping and processed some firewood and felled a 4" tree on the property as a real world test. Shortcomings? Well it was dull as heck but 10min with a file fixed that. I do wish it came with a competent sheath but there is a functional reasonably tough plastic edge guard included. I plan to create some kind of Kydex guard that will do it justice so that's not too big of a deal. The only thing I really wish it had was a sleeved lanyard hole at the end. I would like to make a sabre guard paracord strap so a hole would be useful.Seriously though, this is a fine tool and I look at it as a buy once solution to multiple uses outdoors, and a gap filler for many other uses. Skip the hatchet and the Fatmax bar and try this, consider the lifetime guarantee and made in the USA giddy feeling there are still great American products you haven't tried.
