This is a very simple easy way to clean fuel injectors to get back that nice fine atomized symmetrical spray pattern. Just get a can of carburetor cleaner, plug up the cleaner to 12 volts and set the mode for your type of injector and in a few seconds the injector is working great. Everything that you need to clean two injectors at a time.

This was a helpful tool to compare each injectors performance. You can test each injector the same amount of pulses and time and check the volume of fuel for each injector. It's fairly easy to use even without the manual. I do wish is was possible to turn off the beep. The beeper on mine was failing and emitting a terrible changing tone which was just annoying. For the quality of this tool, if it's priced under $40 it's a decent value for the money.

This tester worked very well. Extremely simple to hook up. Price is very reasonable. Welcomed addition to my garage. No brainer if you have fuel injected vehicles that you have to diagnose for issues or just to ensure everything is working as it should.

I remember the days when you had to send injectors out to a shop to be put in a machine for cleaning and flowing. Granted for motorsport situations that's probably still a good idea so you can be sure your injectors are matched for flow rate. BUT, for the rest of us!...This is the best thing since sliced bread!I used to do the ghetto version and use a power supply to open the injector, spray the neck with carb cleaner and blow it out with the compressor. It kinda worked but was a PITA more than anything.This unit - if you didn't know - lets you plug the injector in, open it and has an snug fitting adapter for the top so you can spray a sealed off can of carb cleaner through the injector and clear it out. Super easy to use, very functional. This unit in particular has decent build quality and for the money you couldn't find a better value. It would cost you more than the price of this unit just to send out a few injectors to be cleaned.I don't think I would use this in a shop all day every day. But for the casual mechanic and home gamer it's great. Maybe I'm wrong, and it would live a long life in a pro setting but who knows for sure these days.

Ein grundsätzlich gutes Gerät mit fünf Einstellmöglichkeiten, wobei vor allem der fünfte Modus komplett frei einstellbar ist – das fand ich besonders praktisch.Die Bedienungsanleitung ist nur auf Englisch verfügbar und enthält ein paar kleine, aber nicht störende Tippfehler – zum Beispiel steht da einmal „tset“ statt „test“.Die Bedienung ist insgesamt sehr einfach, das Gerät liegt gut in der Hand und kann zwei Injektoren gleichzeitig ansteuern. Auch die Kabellängen sind gut gewählt – länger müssten sie meiner Meinung nach wirklich nicht sein, und kürzer sollten sie auf keinen Fall sein. So wie sie sind, passt es genau.Ein Nachteil ist allerdings, dass die fest verbauten Injektorstecker nicht mit allen Einspritzventilen kompatibel sind. Zwar wird dadurch ein Verpolen verhindert, aber weil keine losen Kabel mit kleinen AMP-Steckern verwendet wurden, sondern feste Stecker, lassen sich bestimmte Injektoren – wie z.B. die von Mercedes mit den M272-Motoren (C350, E350, ML350 usw.) – nicht direkt anschließen. Das lässt sich zwar mit selbstgebauten Adapterkabeln lösen, ist aber eben ein zusätzlicher Aufwand.Injektoren wie sie zum Beispiel bei den EW10J4-Motoren von Peugeot, Fiat oder Citroën (2.0 Liter, 16 Ventile) verbaut sind, ließen sich hingegen problemlos testen.Ich gebe dem Gerät 4 von 5 Sternen. Es funktioniert zuverlässig, ist gut durchdacht und gebaut. Die festen Stecker stellen sicher, dass keine Verpolung passiert, allerdings ist die Kompatibilität damit eingeschränkt, weshalb man bei Bedarf selbst Adapterkabel basteln und verwenden muss.
