Very cool to turn out a bunch of waffle sticks. I have found many tasty recipes. Customer Service was better than any I have called. My whole experience was perfect, from the call to customer service to the purchase and to the use. Perfect.

Wow!! Another waffle iron from Nordicware and another hit. I love my original waffle iron from Nordicware but this is amazing too. Makes smaller “cuter” waffles than the traditional one - they would be excellent as waffle soldiers with egg - or anything with hollandaise sauce or other runny stuff. The photo shows some potato waffles that were the first ones out of the new iron.

This was surprisingly simple to use and didn't require much more effort than making pancakes. I used Bob's Red Mill Organic 7 Grain Pancake Mix and the waffles came out great (my 4 year old also gave his seal of approval). Using the waffle instructions on the Bob's Red Mill package, one batch of batter made 10 dippers. The first round was a little well done, but let me know I had to lower the flame on my stove. The next ones came out perfect - 2 minutes each side. So, just be mindful that you may have to go through some trial and error - but not too much. I did lightly re-oil the wells between batches, but I'm not entirely sure I had to because the cooked waffles were coming out so effortlessly. The non-stick surface does what it's supposed to. Being as though it can be washed under running water it is also a breeze to clean, as opposed to my electric waffle maker which required a considerable amount of time and elbow grease, repeatedly wiping the wells (and smashing my fingertips in the waffle grooves in the process) to get the oil off. I can see myself using the waffle dipper pan at least once a week and will probably donate my electric waffle maker.

It works fine. Just mustn't forget to heat both at same time prior to adding the batter. A really cool addition to my gadgets!! Also, I have an electric one from Baby Cakes to make waffle 'sticks." If you're trying to cut down on electricity bills and use cheaper gas, this is for you.
