Because I couldn't find the information anywhere else, the length of the S hook when straightened is about 9 inches. The thickness is about 0.4 inches or 1cm, so it's much thicker than even the long 18 or 24-inch GearTies.I don't think it would support a lot of weight so a metal S hook might work better in many cases, but if you need something flexible, this seems relatively sturdy.

It's large, sturdy, can be bent to the shape you need, and the rubber won't scratch anything. It will fit over a shower rod or closet pole. I have several for hanging things like reusable grocery bags and a long extension cord. But it's also great to hang dry anything that won't fit on a hanger.

Works well. With the textured surface, thinks do not slip off and the hook is silent. No clanking like a metal hook.

Who knew? This is an amazing life saver. Sturdy, rubbery ends, strong bendy body. No, it's not Cirque de Soleil. Its this crazy good contraption to hang anything! It's that good. I thought the bag carabiner was godsend. This is so well thought out that I just got this 30minutes ago and have now purchased 2 more. They don't look the best but it beats leaving my grocery, my backpack on the floor. Also they are a gem for hooking my luggage with the additional bag securely. It's also super lightweight. Again Nite Ize has done it again!
