I like the texture and feel of this cutting mat. and that it can be used on either side. I also like that it has a ruler, and grid lines, but would prefer them to be in inches, vs. cm/mm. Also, the graphics on the grid side are more of a nuisance to me than decoration.Moving forward, I think I will use one side for cutting, and the other for messy/glue projects.

So, I like that it is a cutting matt. Maybe it is intended more for leather work. I am a seamstress and use a cutting matt with a rotary cutter. There are attempts at grids on one side. It is hard to know which side is intended to he the cutting side. The side with the gridwork, also has some texture on it. I may use this as a crafting matt but it will most likely not be my go to for rotary cutting.
