I have only had this for a few days, but it has turned out to be a fabulous flash; being flexible, powerful, and easy to operate. It is very versatile, offering full TTL, manual, and multi modes, plus the round shape design with a Fresnel screen gives a more naturally balanced light than standard flashguns. There are a number of useful other features, such as the auto zoom covering 28-105mm as you change focal length, built-in modelling lights, exposure compensation, fast 1/20000 sync speed, and a USB rechargeable lithium battery that enables much higher usage than typical AA batteries found in most flashguns.Perhaps my biggest enjoyment came from using the really nice user interface that made everything so simple and clear to navigate. The last TTL flash I bought was many years ago and always felt fiddly moving through the options, whereas this makes it so easy and inspires confidence.Needless to say, the results are great, and I’ll be using this very regularly now. Apart from the Nikon, I also have a Lumix camera and wish Neewer made a version of this flash for that system as well.

I've been using the NEEWER Z2-N 2.4G TTL Round Head Flash Speedlite, over the past few days not with my usual Nikon Z6 III (which is currently in for repair), but with my OM System OM-5. While the Z2-N is designed for Nikon cameras, I was curious to see how it would perform in a pinch with a different body, even one outside the Nikon ecosystem. Admittedly, it did feel a little oversized, and did make handling a challenge, but once I get my Nikon camera back, I will update this review.I have reviewed several NEEWER camera accessories, and nearly always have been impressed with the design and manufactoring standards. The Z2-N has a premium feel for its price point. The round head design not only looks professional but provides a more natural, even light spread which is ideal for portraits and events. The magnetic modifier system is a real bonus, making it quick to snap on diffusers or gels.As expected, TTL and full compatibility are not available with the OM-5, since this is a Nikon-specific flash. That said, in manual mode, the flash works reliably and consistently. Recycle times are fast, and power output is impressive. I was able to shoot a series of test portraits and indoor scenes using manual settings, adjusting flash power directly on the unit. Syncing via the hot shoe was seamless and there were no misfires or weird quirks. If you're using a Nikon camera like the Z6 III (my primary body), you'll get the full suite of TTL, high-speed sync, and wireless control via the 2.4G system. With the OM-5 or any non-Nikon camera, it's effectively a powerful manual flash, which is still incredibly useful if you're comfortable working that way. While this isn’t the ideal match for the OM-5, it’s been a dependable temporary solution while my Nikon Z6 III is in for repairs. I’m looking forward to testing the Z2-N’s full capabilities when my Nikon returns. In the meantime, it’s proven itself as a solid, well-built flash that can still deliver great results, even outside its intended ecosystem.

I've only had the opportunity to use this flash a couple times so far and I'm a bit of a newbie to flash photography outside of the Auto modes, so at least for me there was a fairly steep learning curve that's still on-going. I think the light looks fantastic though and the flash itself is extremely powerful on the higher levels. We didn't run into any issues using the unit with our Nikon zF, it was recognized that it was attached and there weren't any communication errors. There's a lot of features here that can be accessed with the built-in controls that I've played around with, but at least for our last shoot, we ended up using mostly automatic modes. It's a very high quality unit overall and honestly, probably a bit overkill for my level of skill but it does have all of the features professionals would need and I wanted something I could grow into. I've really come to like Neewer products and think they're a great value for everything you get and this speedlite is no exception.

Neewer photography products are of great quality and they have a very good website where you can look up all their products to get FAQs and download product manuals. This is sold as a flash for Nikon, but it actually fits and works on my Canon 90D in the manual mode - go figure! It's quick and it's bright, but you do have to spend some time figuring out how it operates.

I like this flash quite a bit. I've been using this model with my Sony using the Q trigger with great results. Its really nice to have everything link up using the Q system since i have a few S101 pro flashes in my studio. The screen on this model really helps to remove much of the clutter that some more expensive flashes suffer from. Its battery isn't the best but its just as easy to buy a few separate batteries for the amount you save going with this brand over something like Profoto or even Godox. All in all, i highly recommend comparing this model to the V1 Pro from Godox to see what you prefer, I still think Godox has them slightly edged out in the build quality department but the difference is quite minor, the only major thing would be the color since Neewer needs to improve on color accuracy.
