Compared to the trash that is Megadap, this wonderful adapter works with all lenses (Sony, Sigma, Tamron, etc.), intelligently switches between OIS and IBIS, and has a weather seal.Megadap tech support is nonexistent and their adapter constantly drains your camera's battery, even when turned completely off. Megadap's garbage also doesn't allow focus lock on many third party Tamron and Sigma lenses, especially in low light.The only behavior I wish NEEWER would change is the full aperture cycle (open->close of aperture) when the lens is turned on; it wastes a fraction of a second when powering up and makes some noise. Otherwise, it seems perfect and I bought two. Will be trying to sell my Megadap junk.

Compré el adaptador para usarlo con una Z6. Tengo tres lente sony, un Sony 16-35 f4 PZ. Un Samyang 135mm f1.8 y un Samyang 35mm f1.8. El lente sony fue durísimo de girar usarndo este adaptador, Intenté hacerlo solo una vez y si funcionó bien pero ya no lo quise montar mas por que sentía que se iba a quebrar la montura a la hora de girar. El 135mm se montó sin ninguna difucultad al girarlo pero el enfoque no me gustó, tardaba demasiado en adquirir el autofoco. El 35mm no enfocó bien ya que tenía un enfoque erratico. Decidí regresarlo. El adaptador ya venía con el firmware mas actual, no hubo necesidad de actualizarlo.

Con este adaptador puedes usar ópticas sony como si fuesen nativas de nikon. Hay algunas ópticas con las que el enfoque es un poco mas lento, por ejemplo el 85 gm o 50 gm 1.2, pero con 35 gm, 24 gm, 24-70 gm y 35 1.4 sigma es igual que si tuvieses una lente nikon, la destreza del enfoque es total

Also ich kann mir das nicht anders erklären als ein defektes Modell bekommen zu haben, aber der Adapter erpupte sich als Katastrophe.Schon beim anbringen an meiner Nikon Zf hat es sich nicht gut angefühlt. Es gab kein klicken und man musste ihn unangenehm fest ziehen. Dann habe ich mal mein Sony 35mm f1.8 drauf gepackt. Da hat von 10 Fotos der Autofokus 1 mal getroffen.Schon mal sehr ernüchternd.Da es recht dunkel war, wollte ich mein GMaster drauf packen mit Blende 1.4 (kein riesiger Unterschied aber angeblich sollte es mit GM Objektiven am besten funktionieren).Jedoch beim anbringen des Objektiv ging es extrem streng und hat sich dann sogar leicht verkeilt. Es war nicht ganz drauf und ging auch kurz gar nicht mehr runter. Ich hatte schon etwas Panik bekommen. Zum Glück ging es dann ab.Und schon landete der Adapter wieder in der Verpackung. Da brauch ich nicht mal ein Firmware update versuchen wegen des Autofokus. Da schraube ich keine teure Linse mehr drauf.Ich habe nun auch keine Lust aufs herum schicken um herauszufinden ob es ein besseres Modell gibt.Sowas darf einfach nicht passieren. Da braucht es Kontrolle.Werde wohl mal Megadap ausprobieren.

This adapter is an ideal tool to have in your backpack if you are transitioning from Sony to Nikon. With this adapter, you are able to use Sony e lenses onto a Nikon system. The adapter works as advertised. You are able to use the lens as if it were on a native body while being able to keep all the features, such as autofocus and lens data. Overall, I am amazed that a third-party company could have done this. Usually, with this kind of adapter, you lose some features such as autofocus, but they managed to actually have everything work as if it was used on a native Sony body. I highly recommend it with this adapter. Switching from E to Z gear has never been easier.
