Useful for connecting mini Bowens mount lights to standard Bowens mount I use it with Neewer mini mount lights to make them compatible with all Bowens mount accessories, Easy to install just align the Neewer mini mount light with the three mounting points on the back of the adapter.I use it in my studio lighting, and it allows me to use a wide range of lighting accessories It is light and compact and is easy to store and transport.

Picked up this Bowens mount adapter for my video light, and it’s been a total game-changer for my setup. The adapter fits securely onto my light, allowing me to use all of my Bowens mount modifiers, which has really expanded my lighting options. It’s well-built, easy to attach, and feels sturdy enough to handle heavier modifiers without any issues. Thoughtfully designed but may not be durable.I have both the Neewer HS60B and HS60C lights which are mini Bowens mount. I have larger Bowens mount lights and an array of Bowens mount softboxes and accessories. I tested this adaptor with the Neewer mini Bowens lights and it attached easily, allowing me to use my Bowens accessories. It has a small built-in reflector.The adaptor has a 5/8" mount so you are no longer putting the weight on the small HS60 series light. It allows full tilt up and down keeping in mind accessory weight considerations. There's also a hole to allow for the use of an umbrella.My concern is that it's mostly plastic of the more fragile kind. I can easily see it cracking if you over-tighten or use a Bowens accessory and an angle that it can't sustain. I believe there are sturdier plastic builds they could have used. It certainly will serve its purpose but be careful not to push it too hard. Being able to use my Bowens-compatible softboxes allows me to avoid having to buy mini Bowens-specific accessories so it's still a valuable addition to my lighting kit.

S type brackets are a very handy device. They are the easiest way to use Bowens mount modifiers on speedlites or studio flash units that don't have built-in modifier mounts (like the original Godox AD360 and the AD200). I have a number of s type brackets because my main studio units are Godox AD300 Pros and my backups are AD360-II units and I have a large collection of Bowens mount modifiers. They all pretty much work the same. This Neewer version is like the newer ones made by Godox in that the adjustment to tilt the flash downward or upward rotates freely when the locking knob is loosened as opposed to the earlier versions that had click stops that were annoying. I definitely prefer the stepless tilt like this model. The biggest differences I see with this version from other 2nd generation s type brackets is that the plates that adjust the size of the opening to accommodate different sizes of flash now rotates out rather than being pulled off. The plus is that you don't have to worry about losing them when pulled off. The minus is that it now will stick out from the bracket when pulled away. The other change I notice is the adjustment knob for tightening down on the flash is different. It's larger and all plastic. I don't like it as much but it's not a factor. Overall, this is well made and durable.

This does seem like a well-build and thoughtfully designed mount. I like that it has a built-in reflector that is still pretty low profile. Unfortunately it did not work for me. I have a box light that has a mini Bowens mount reflector. But I was hoping to use this one with that so that I can use a Bowens mount diffusion shade that I bought. But as I feared, not all mini Bowens mounts are the same. In fact, after doing some research, the mini Bowens mounts are pretty much different from brand to brand. So if you have one, that brand better make a shade adapter as well because it seems next to impossible to find a third-party adapter or diffusion shade or softbox.

Habe mir den NEEWER CRB1 Halter für mein Neewer Z-760 gekauft damit ich dieses entfesselt einsetzen kann.Auf den Bildern betreibe ich es noch mit einer Mini-Softbox von Neewer. Bin noch auf der Suche nach einer großen Softbox im Oktagon-Look die ich auch mal mitnehmen kann.Jedenfalls sollte dieser Halter mein Einstieg in die nächste Stufe der Fotografie werden.Aus meiner Sicht (von Beruf Mechaniker für Baumaschinen) macht der kpl. Halter einen vernünftigen und stabilen Eindruck. Die Möglichkeit den Halter horizontal oder vertikal auf ein Lampenstativ zu setzen, verleiht einem noch etwas mehr Luft, seine Sofboxen zu neigen.Gut gelöst ist die Möglichkeit der Montage von Speedlites mit runden Blitzgöpfen. Einfach den oberen der beiden unteren Halter herausschwenken und den runden Blitz einsetzen. Fummeliges umbauen ist hierfür nicht nötig. Die gummierten Klemmen halten das Speedlite dort, wo es hin gehört und bleiben soll. Bezüglich der Passgenauigkeit des Bowensadapters werde ich meine Rezession hier noch erweitern wenn ich mich mal für eine Softbox entschieden habe. Denke aber, sie wird wie so vieles von Neewer ihre Passgenauigkeit haben. Aber bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt hat der Halter seine 5 Sterne wirklich verdient.
