Well I wanted a Geodesic tent since every family tent's design that I have seen just doesn't stand up to the windy conditions we have in the UK and the shape of dome tents is far above any other I think. This is marketed as a 'tunnel tent' but technically it is a geodesic tent. The tent just arrived and I put it up to check. I thought I'd buy it before it said sold out. I did check on You Tube and there are a few vids typically in Asia of this tent so this is worth looking at. First impressions are very favourable. It's well constructed with 210T fabric which is good, and all the seams look well sticked and no issues. The door tintel poles were very tight but this might be just because they expect the tent to strecth a bit. The inner tent bedroom is an excellent size for 4 and you could easily put another 5 people in the main tent area. It is open to the ground there but that suits me walking in with boots on and for cooking etc. The tent pegs are heavy duty really thick- 26 I counted. Overall this tent seems 1) the right shape for conditions in the UK 2) good material 3) well put together, no errors etc 3) good strong poles and 4) lots of openings 4 in total and ventilation seems good. 5) for the price the quality is excellent I would say you and you could easily spend another £100 and get very little more... So overall a great tent- really recommend. I will let update if something goes wrong but all seems fine to me!
