After trying the belt a few times, I am throwing it away. My primary complaint is the nozzles on the bottles put out a pathetically small stream of liquid. It is a classic case of "the juice isn't worth the sqeeze." When running, I want a quick shot of water/hydration into my mouth without having to keep sqeezing for 10 seconds to get a mouthful. My second complaint is the belt is stretchy elastic, which doesn't allow it to cinched as tightly as I like. I expected more from Nathan, as I love my Nathan running vest. Going back to my old CamelBak belt.

TLDR: Decent bag for walking/running! This bag is perfect for walking the neighborhood or a quick run. Sometimes I just want to go with the essentials but the bare essentials, and this does just that! I can take my random important items and get going on my journey. My only issue is the water bottles are a bit hard to drink from, but I am wondering if I just need to get used to them! Otherwise I really really do like this bag especially for quick walks etc.

A little jiggly at first but you barely notice it once you're in the zone, for those who say the bottles don't work, they are equipped w/ "bite valves" lol, they definitely work

Nathan is a well established brand in the running world, and I honestly think they offer too many products sometimes. Every season seems to bring new iterations on a line-up of hydration belts, not exactly a cutting-edge piece of tech. But at the same time, usually the same bottle form factor will be good for a few years and you can always find one that fits your style. And no matter which you pick, it's probably going to fit and be well-designed. This belt is no exception to that rule. It's super easy to adjust and excess strap (if you use that, you also can use the bungees to fine tune the fit, I recommend utilizing both) is neatly kept out of the way. The bottles are easy to use in motion, both removing them from the belt and replacing them. They are small, but it's a belt, you can always step it up to a vest or backpack if you are going further and need more hydration. I like the smaller size, anything more would be too much bouncing around on my waist. The pocket is good for gels or bar, but a bit meh for a phone. If you have a larger model it will fit but so snugly getting it in or out while running is a challenge. If only there were smartwatches or earbuds with built-in controls or armbands or just enjoying nature as alternatives. The retroreflective patches and text aren't obnoxious but definitely flare up at night, I appreciate the safety feature. Really just a winner if you like the two-bottle style, it's going to fit, fit well, stay put, keep you hydrated, keep you safe, everything you need from a running belt.
