Does not leave marks like the yellow/brown tapes does on my tumblers, however it does not hold well either ... I use this for only spots that touch the tumbler .. I overlap my design and use the brown tape to really hold it all together.

Tape works great for sublimation and dtf prints applied with press. Does not leave marks but holds prints down securely. I have reordered already!

I've only used this heat tape when sublimating mugs and personally I think it is not as sticky as the yellow colored tape. I used them both on the same mug and the yellow just felt "more secure" in sealing the image onto the mug. Another "issue" was that I was sublimating onto a white mug and it is much easier to see where you've taped with the yellow tape than this clear tape. Bottom line for me at least is that I'll keep the clear tape for holding down designs that I sublimate onto fabric but I think I'll keep using the yellow colored tape for sublimating onto glassware.
