I had a couple of strawberry planters and a large pot with a new blueberry plant in that wouldn’t fit in my fruit cage and I was looking for a solution to stop the birds from stealing all my fruit. This set which includes fibreglass stakes which can be joined together created a mini fruit cage for my strawberries and a larger one which perfectly housed my blueberry bush with rods to spare for my mini vegetable patch too. The instructions are easy to follow, and once you realise you need to build in situ as the stakes rely on tension to hold their shape, this was a really straightforward build. The rods themselves look robust and durable, and I am hoping will just bend back and forth in the wind rather than snap. I’m hoping I’ve pressed them firm and further enough into the ground to provide stability to the structure too. At almost £20, my only disappointment is that there was no netting included as I have had to go out and purchase this separately. The cost for the net is not a lot and I feel this should have been included in the kit itself. Otherwise, a nice kit which can be taken apart easily and reconstructed each year – fully customisable to your garden.

The MQHUAYU Greenhouse Hoops are a practical and cost-effective solution for anyone building their own low tunnels or raised bed covers. This set gives you 40 pieces (8 full hoops when assembled), made from durable, detachable fibreglass rods that are easy to connect and bend without snapping.Assembly is dead simple. Each hoop consists of multiple rods that slot together firmly — no fiddly tools, no cracking ends. Once joined, they form a strong, semi-rigid arch that holds its shape well even under tension from mesh, fleece, or plastic sheeting. Height and width can be tweaked depending on how deep you push them into the soil, making them quite versatile. They’re particularly well-suited for raised beds, veg patches, or even container gardens, providing protection from pests, frost, and wind. I used them to support insect netting over my brassicas, and they’ve stood up to some wild Scottish weather without issue. The black coating helps them blend into the garden and offers a bit of UV resistance too. Lightweight but tough, they store away easily when not in use.Verdict:A reliable, modular solution for small-scale growers. Ideal if you want to build your own crop covers or mini greenhouses without spending a fortune or wrestling with metal frames.

I ordered this garden arch support system from the Amazon brand MQHUAYU. It certainly appeard to be a quality set-up. I odered the 8 arch kit, which makes 8 hoops, each requiring. 5 fibreglass lenths to contruct it. This meand the whole package consists of 40 long fibregass pieces 32 plugs (basically the connectors), 24 garden clips (to holy your net, polythene or fleece onto the arches; thats 3 per arch, top and the two sides) and 10 grounding anchors. The grounding anchors are meant for the fleece, net or polythene, so it doesn't blow off. It''s a bit like pitching a tent with a similar strenth and stability. I'd consider binding a cane along the top if I lived in a high wind area, just to ensure its all slotted together as one. This has the makings of a proper garden workhorse, in play all year round.

Decent hoops which flex nicely... used in different configurations to suit the width/length of your beds.I already have a set of similar rods, and fortunately they do interchange without problem. While marketed primarily for garden use, I've actually used these things for adding support to a gazebo's roof for extra support (specifically against heavy rain) with great success.Good stuff, and on a quality/value-for-money basis.... 5-Stars.

Produkt gefällt mir .Schon leicht unter Spannung halten die Stäbe sicher .Bei Nichtgebrauch im Winter kann man die Stäbe gut wieder verstauen bis zum nächsten Frühjahr
