Bought these to fix the sag on a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. Already tried replacing the leaf springs 5 years ago and it only lasted a couple years and was sagged out. After jacking up the rear and letting it back down it would be level for a day or two and then sink down. Put these air shocks on as directed (noticed one didn't line up perfectly then pulled out direction and noticed there is a left and right) and everything lined up perfectly and went fine. Air lines clear the spare tire and ran them on top of spare tire bracket. Put 70 pounds of air in them for a perfectly level ride. Took for a test drive and was amazed at how much better it rode and softer than I expected. It used to bottom out the springs on large bumps and hit the rubber bumpers so it rode pretty rough, but now it actually has a suspension and looks better too. They should have had these from the factory cause I haven't seen an Explorer Sport that isn't sagged out at least some.

Great product to correct sagging rear springs of my Explorer at a very reasonable cost and something I could do my self. Easy to install, as I had already removed the spare tire. Upper bolts difficult to get to but I got them out and I am 66 years old. There were a right hand shock and a left hand shock, I naturally put them on the wrong sides initially !!! :) They fit perfectly and I had no leaks once I hooked up the air lines. With 30 lbs of air in them (min. is 20), they lifted my vehicle to a nice level position. The ride is alittle stiffer but that is an acceptable part of the trade off. New leaf springs would have been $400.00 to $700.00. I am very happy with these. Hope this helps others.
