The stand comes flat packed. You get two acrylic plates which are 27.9cm long, 15.9cm wide, 3mm thick and have a protective film on both sides which peels off (easy to do once you've managed to lift it at one of the corners). You just need to first work out which way up the plates need to go. One plate has holes and the other has dips in the same places so that the cake pops' sticks go through the first and stay in place in the second. To complete the stand four acrylic rods (which are 5cm long), flat-headed screws (with 2 spares) and a screwdriver are also provided for easy assembly. Once done up the screws are countersunk so are flush with the plates' surface top and bottom (which is another reason why you need to work out first which way is up) and give the stand stability. Each plate has 28 holes so can hold 28 cake pops.You also get 100 white long sticks (made of very dense paper and 15cm long), 100 transparent cellophane bags with golden twist ties (8cm long). The latter are adorned with a polka-dot bow (made in a synthetic material) in a variety of colours (white, red, lilac, brown and different shades of orange, pink, blue, green) to individually wrap your cake pops with. As the bags are 7.9cm wide and 10cm long they'll cover the cake pop end only which is quite usual.Finally you get two cake pop moulds with 20 half-sphere cavities which have a 3.8cm diameter. When used together they'll create the full cake pop spheres. One of those mould pans has 2mm diameter holes in the middle of each cavity (for the 8cm long plastic hollow rods supplied, even though they're a bit wider) and a large tab at one of the corners (to lift it as it acts as a lid for the other mould pan, the two silicone pans slotting neatly into one another around the edges). The moulds being in silicone the cake pops are easy to demould after baking. All the different elements of this set are wrapped separately in a transparent bag and then placed in a plain brown corrugated cardboard box. A sticker on that gives the address of the Chinese manufacturer and that of their UK representatives. All in all this is a good baking and display set for making cake pops. You just need to make the dough now.
