We had a lovely wee 2 berth caravan that we bought secondhand. A set of aluminium steps exactly like these ones, (minus the rubber on the steps), was included in the sale. We loved those steps - so light and stable and no sinking into soft ground. We sold the caravan a couple of years ago and the steps went with it. We now have a motorhome and a set of steps with 4 corner legs which annoyingly sink into the ground and the rubber has also worn off the feet, so not good for the awning carpet. These steps are now destined for the bin and are being replaced with my new aluminium ones - happy days!

Decided to go for this one as it has a nice rail running around the complete base of the step, meaning it should be more stable and not sink in the grass. The rubber topped steps should make it a bit more slip resistant and easier for the dog to get in and out! It’s also lightweight and easy to place inside and out.

These steps are just the job. The old plastic single step seemed a bit of a leap onto it but these are far better. A little bit creaky but seem well built. Time will tell if they pass the test of time. They arrived quickly and where a decent price so all good.
