There is just enough detail to keep an older child (11ish) entertained, but not too much to frustrate or overwhelm a younger one (4 or 5). The papers are HUGE and aren't tissue paper thin, so they don't tear easy. Crayon works best, or colored pencil. I can't tell you if they marker would bleed, but I can tell you that the kids enjoy pointed out the animals and drawing for hours.

I bought this colouring book for my 2-year-old son. Overall, I think the book is an excellent size, the paper quality is very good. There are a lot of pictures, which are clear with bold lines. The pictures are complicated enough to portray the animal without being overwhelming.But, due to the higher price point for a colouring book, and the overall quality, I will probably save this one until my son is a little older. As stated on the book itself, this is probably more appropriate for 3+.

Es gibt kein schöneres Malbuch auf dem Markt meiner Meinung nach. Die Ausmalbilder sind so toll und vor allem schön groß, meine 3 jährige Tochter liebt es!
