This grip is nearly perfect on the X-Pro3. It is the third one I've tried including the JJC model and a custom wooden stick on grip from a Chinese seller. IMO the X-Pro-3 is a good size and does not need a grip when using small primes like the f2's and the 35 1.4. I mostly use these but I also own and love the very heavy 16-55, which is a very bad fit on the X-Pro-3. Therefore a removable grip is a good solution for me for when using larger lenses.This grip makes the camera feel much more balanced with a large lens like this (I would image also with larger primes like the 16 1.4). Without the grip the 16-55 is lower than the bottom of the camera body so it can't even sit flush on a table. The grip solves that issue. The grip is nice and deep so it feels more like holding a DSLR. With a wrist strap you can hold the camera with just one or two fingers. I also tried the JJC model and this one is MUCH better. That model has really sharp edges at the bottom and is really uncomfortable. This grip is also deeper. The black finish matches the camera body close enough and doesn't detract from the sleek look or look to overly bulky like some after market grips do.There is some minor room for improvement. While the base is metal, the grip itself is plastic and feels a little light/hollow compared a built in grip on a larger camera - but I'm being pretty picky here. It would have also been nice if they had used a grippier texture on it which would increase comfort a bit. Finally, I do wish they hadn't put the Meike name on the back which is a little cheesy so I'll probably sand that off.That said, this thing is a big success and I highly recommend it.
