Decent headset for the price. The sound quality is good, but the headphone connection port is a bit loose, requiring some adjustment to get the sound right. Despite this minor issue, it’s a solid choice for a budget-friendly motorcycle communication system.

So at 90% full charge the charging indicator turns off. Installation was a bit tricky but that may have had to do with my OCD... Lots of checking and looking till I finally committed and even then it took me a couple times to get the Velcro right... Verry loud with my phone. Calling works well. Tunes on the bike good to go.Overall pretty cool.

Nearly two years ago, I finally took the plunge and got myself a smart watch here on Amazon. It was okay, but I noticed that, shortly after syncing the watch to my phone, something strange happened.(Bear with me here, this pertains to my suspicion of this helmet headset).I would get routine automated phone calls in the middle of the night. I mute my phone before sleeping, so I never woke up, but I would always have one or two voice mails in the morning, and they were always the same:A woman's voice would speak language I don't understand, then in English, proclaim the message was produced with automation. I suspected that someone was bugging my phone this way, and when news broke out of nations using products to spy, I de-synced the watch, uninstalled it's app, and what do you know, those odd calls and voice mails stopped.Fast forward to last year: I got a Bluetooth helmet headset much like this one and installed it on my full face bicycling helmet. It was great, until the mounting bracket for the main unit broke. A few weeks ago, I saw this headset and noticed it uses a radial switch for control, something I felt would be much easier to control than my old headset's rubber buttons.Well.... Literally the night after I tried using this headset, those same exact phone calls and voicemails that I've discussed above started recurring again!! This went on for a week, until I remembered the above events, and de-synced this headset from my phone. Once again, those calls have ceased.I'm not going to elaborate on this much more, but given circumstances, I don't feel comfortable with this headset if, IF it's bugged. I don't stay up to date with news, and while I'm comfortable and familiar with technology, I'm not an expert.So, in summary of this half of the review, all I'll say is I have scarcely informed suspicions of this headset. If my story makes you wary, then avoid this headset. If you aren't wary and/or don't care, then read on.I'm saddened that this headset is a medium for suspicious activity, as I really do like it!This headset came with hook n' loop patches not only for the speakers and microphone, but also for the main control unit! This means I don't have to worry about a mounting bracket breaking on me! I stuck the main control unit on the outside of my helmet's chin bar, routing the speakers' wiring through the helmet padding and stuck the speakers in place, and clumsily stuck the microphone above the chin bar.I only use headsets for listening to music while I ride, so I can't comment on the microphone's performance. The speakers sound fairly well rounded, given their size and limitations. I do think that they could be optimized for just a touch more bass and low-mid range, but that would drive the price up. The listening experience definitely isn't premium, but I can still hear music at an acceptable quality, and still hear sounds of my surroundings as I ride my bike.That radial switch is as nice as I thought. Even with gloves on, it's still super easy to reach up, grab the switch, and toggle the volume up or down, or change tracks. By comparison, my old headset with it's mushy rubber buttons only worked decently if I don't wear gloves.The hook n' loop patches are of good quality too. My bike is a hybrid style, with 700c (29") wheels and I run 68 PSI in my tires. The bike has a suspension front fork but I keep it really firm. So, I REALLY feel bumps and dips on the road! Despite all the vibrations, and even a few causes of vertical whiplash when I accidentally rode over some sunk-in maintenance covers, none of this headset's components have budged. Again, I'm really glad to not have to worry about a mounting bracket breaking.As much as I like this headset though, I have ceased using it due to the experience discussed in the first part of this review. Once more, if you have suspicions and don't approve of what the situation may be regarding use of this headset, look elsewhere. But if you don't mind or don't care, this is a pretty flexible headset with regard to application and seems like it may be reliable overall.
