Gute und praktische Küchenhilfe für das Zubereiten aller Arten von Nudeln. Die Schneideräder sind ziemlich scharfkantig, was bei einer falschen Handhabung zu Verletzungen führen könnte. Reinigungsfreundlich.

You'll wonder how you ever lived without this! The bike is comfortable with one hand. The wheels glide easily and are gentle enough to use on surfaces like pastry mats & cookies sheets. This is my second one (in ~15 years) because the plastic wheels eventually wear down and do loosen - which makes straight lines require more effort. On the other hand, you get 9 wheels while paying less than for an all-metal pastry cutter that has fewer wheels, can scratch surfaces, and is bulkier to use. Makes pretty ruffled edges of pasta/ravioli, cookies, flatbread squares, crackers -- and it's a great guide for guaranteeing even bars, brownies, petit-fours, etc.

This pasta cutter offers some versatility in size of cuts however, the design that makes it easy to change sizes also makes it easy for the arm to pop of while in use. The trick is to find the right amount of pressure - enough to cut the dough but not so much as to pop the arm. It would have been nice of the design included a wing-nut or something on the outside of the arm to keep it in place during use. The device does however make beautiful, even cuts of pasta.
