My 2 year old toddler has only just recently been potty trained and I thought this would be a good tool to get him used to sitting on the toilet independently. He liked the idea of a ladder style as fun way to get up (like going up a slide), but the top step is quite small so he struggles to turn around and sit down without help. The handles at the top of the seat gives him the security he needs when he’s sat on the toilet. I do find for boys the splashguard isn’t the highest so he has to lean forward to make sure there’s no surprise fountain. I understand the cushion is there for comfort, but this pad is only attached with 3M stickers which I feel would make it so much harder to clean and disinfect once attached. Would have preferred that it was all in one/part of the frame. It folds down into a potty style seat, but personally I think the bowl is quite small compared to a normal potty. I also feel the ‘non slip’ inserts under the seat and feet isn’t sufficient and it still moves about, which means I have to supervise my toddler when he’s using it. The assembly was quite involved and took me two attempts to put together as you have pay attention to the angles of the pieces. The ladder collapses easily when taken off the toilet so I don’t think I could trust a toddler or young child to be fully independent taking this on/off the toilet. We’ll use it to help our child transition to the toilet as he’s taken an interest in using this but will need to supervise. For a UK toilet it fits on the shortest setting.

Lyefancy Kids Potty Training Seat with Steps (Grey)I grabbed this potty for my toddler. It was super easy to set up. The soft seat is comfy, and the non-slip steps give them some independence. It does not occupy space as it is foldable. It may not look sturdy, but so far, it holds her weight well. Recommendable.

So chuffed to find this!My granddaughters have used various methods of potty training, but this gives both the easy floor version for starting out and the ladder version, which I find becomes more workable around 3 1/2 years old.Nice that it comes in purple too!Complete system for teaching the little one what's necessary.

This potty training seat has made our transition so much smoother! The 2-in-1 design with built-in steps gives my toddler the confidence to use the "big toilet" all by himself. He loves climbing up like a big kid, and I love how sturdy and safe it feels. The non-slip base and handles are very secure, and the padded seat is super soft and comfortable for him.It fits perfectly on our toilet, and the splash guard is a real bonus — no more unexpected messes! It was also really easy to assemble (took us under 10 minutes), and we can fold it away when not in use, which is great for saving space.Highly recommend for any parent going through potty training — it’s safe, easy to use, and actually makes the process enjoyable for your child!
