It did not come in the quality I expected, the spool part fell apart. It gave the thread dye to my hand every time and it constantly got mixed up.

I got his travel fishing rod and reel set because I fish a lot, often times while backpacking. For certain trips, you have to put the rod inside the pack or else it might get snagged and broken on tree branches. This order took a while to arrive, but it was certainly worth the wait.I really like the carbon fiber rod – it just looks cool. The telescoping sections slide out easily and snug down in the joint between sections. The collapsed rod has a plastic “cover’ to keep the small rod tip for getting broken, and fits into a separate sock for the rod. This fits neatly into the bottom side of the case between the bottom and the side, and mostly stays put even though there’s nothing else is holding it. The description says that the ferrules have ceramic ring inserts, but they have brass-colored finish that looks very metallic to me. It’s possible that they are made of some type of shiny-metal colored or plated ceramic that I’ve never heard of. But in any case, the metal rings would be more durable but not as smooth, while the ceramic rings would be smoother but more fragile – one of those trade-offs.The reels is fairly smooth and looks good. I don’t particularly care for the bulbous knob on the handle but I could probably swap it out if I cared enough. The location of the reel seat is not adjustable and there is about 9”- 10” of rod behind the curved reel seat – I think that is too much for a 6 ft length rod and is wasteful. Even if you wanted to do a two-hand cast – and I don’t know why on such a light-weight rod – there’s still about 4” of empty behind the hands. Unlike the rod itself, the reel doesn’t really have type of restraints or pocket to keep it from flopping around inside the case.The case is very well sewn – the seams are straight and even. The outer pocket is a good size for some tackle in little tackle boxes. But the bigger compartment of the case has a lot of room – almost too much. As already mentioned, there are no little [mesh] pockets or tie-down straps in either compartment.The kit includes 100 m [110 yards] of 12 kg [25 lb] test braided line – a little heavy the listing on the T5A-180 rod and for the type of fishing I do. But the line is a blue-green color and is not very thick, so it will not deter any fishing from striking. The provided tackle is also larger than I typically use as are some of the lures, but it does include a good variety of lure and terminal tackle. However, you will definitely want to supplement it with more hooks, swivels, weights and lures appropriate for your style of fishing before heading out.All in all, despite a few shortcomings, I still give this kit 5 stars. I really like both the appearance of the rod and reel and the feel and it provides great value.

Dobla bien el color es bonito, la caja de anzuelos esta muy bien y el bolso de transporte es lo mejor de esta caña.El hilo que lleva el carrete no vale nada tube que comprar uno mejor me pensaba que la caña era mas larga pero bueno no esta mal del todo pero es una caña mas bien flojita.
