First off, this cover is made from the same high grade nylon that I often see with other tactical gear. The cover is well stitched throughout, with straight seams and no missed stitches or loose threads that I could find.I know that it is mentioned in the listing, but I did not notice the fact that it comes with a notebook until it arrived, which was a cool surprise. The notebook is of a decent quality and is formatted for journal entries with a spot to annotate number and date in the upper right hand corner of each page.Besides the two pockets inside the covers to slide the book into, the inside of the front cover has credit card sized pocket, and another the same size as a small pocket notebook. Then, the front cover has two tall slender pockets for writing utensils which are sized well and very handy.One of my favorite features of this item is the prolific use of loop style Velcro on both sides which not only accept morale/name patches, but can also be used to stick the book the other gear which is really useful. The strap sewn into the back cover very effectively holds it closed utilizing the Velcro tab that secures it to the front. The case also includes a subdued US flag that looks great and has has raised stripes and velcro backing.Given the high-quality and features of this book cover, I would definitely recommend it.

Notebook cover is high quality, with very good Velcro. There’s too much Velcro on the back unless you have a lot of patches to put on but the front has a good ratio. Notepaper is flimsy but easily removable for better paper. Pretty cool purchase.

Great product with a lot of places for patches. Has area for business cards which is great! Sturdy and well made. Only wish it had gotten to me quicker! Definitely recommend for anyone in the military or emergency services.

I dig this little soft sided notebook, but the Velcro sections on the front kinda feel like they are just slapped on randomly. Why not just cover the whole top and bottom with Velcro like the back, instead of the random sized pieces at the top and bottom and the thin strip at the top. Kinda limits what size patches can be used on those areas. One large Velcro piece would have been better for all patches and sizes. The 2 pen pockets are a nice feature on the front and the 2 inside pockets are ideal for stashing business cards or relevant notes. Paper in the notepad is decent paper. I do wish the front and back covers on the notepad were a bit more rigid to make the whole thing a bit less floppy. The front and back covers are almost paper thin. Be great now i don't have to carry a full-size notepad to write up customer change orders.

I'm a kitchen manager and I always have to write stuff down to remember later. This book is perfect and it just fits in my cargo chef pants. It's well made and the American flag is a great bonus. I put my Air Force name tape on it too. I like it and I think you will too.
