I wish I'd bought this sooner! I learned some book binding a few Summers ago, and man oh man is this tape ever helpful. I love it! I want to use this on everything. Easy to use, fun to use, and great quality. Would 10/10 recommend if you have to fix rips or tears or bind pages together

Works well, but you need to recognise the tape bit (translucent) and not the white tape (which is just the backing)

great product. I only used it for one job but it did what it was supposed to and it didn't show a crease.

I had ordered the tape to hinge a native Hawaiian piece of art of Mulberry cloth. I liked the fact that the tape is not acidic and is pliable enough to not damage the art. However I didn't realize that it was so thin and not very strong. When I hung the art on V-hinges, the tape almost got pulled off by the weight of the cloth, even after much reinforcing.Not an experienced framer myself, but I think I might have gone with a stronger option of this, had it been available.It's a bit difficult to pry out, helps if you bend back the tape and the backing onto itself couple of times. After you pry it out, be careful as tape tends to stick onto itself very easily and being delicate in nature, can't be straigtened once that happens.
