I ordered these tanks for my youngest daughter to wear under some of her shirts and dresses to make them more modest. I would never allow my kids to walk around with half a shirt, but as a layering piece, the half length will be cooler to wear in warmer weather. My daughter is very petite and I feel that these tanks run small. I would recommend sizing up.

Got these for my 11 year old. They are crop tops, there are a couple of inches of bare body between waist and the bottom of this top, so they won't be going to school. Good for workouts and hot summer days. The material is pretty thick and seems like it would last a long time. The dark blue looks really good with blue eyes.

As an adult female with a smaller top half, I am able to fit into many girl-size tops. In this case, I ordered the black and red crop tops. They fit well, and are comfortable. The tops are well-fabricated and provide the requisite support. They would be perfect for hot summer days outside or to use as a workout top while at the gym. I will also use them to wear underneath my summer jumpsuits/casual overall outfits. Finally, laundering will be effortless: cold/delicate/line- or hang-dry.
